It is a system capable of maintaining ideal conditions of comfort in the environment by running the air conditioner at variable power and speed, without ongoing switch-offs and on, typical of traditional equipment: maximum speed and power when needed, gradual and automatic slowdown to constantly adapt, and without changes, to the environment s request. This means greater comfort deriving from the absence of sudden temperature changes and a large seasonal energy saving - up to 30% less - due to the efficiency increase of the cooling circuit. In heat pump functioning, a further efficiency recovery is added to these advantages in the cycle reverse and defrosting phases of the outdoor heat exchanger. The microprocessor system keeps all appliance functional parameters under control and acts on the power supply frequency of the compressor in a way to prevent breakdowns or malfunctioning. 8

10 HIGH ENERGY EFFICIENCY To achieve the objectives of 20/20/20 (20% reduction of CO2 emissions, 20% increase in energy production from renewable sources, 20% reduction of primary energy consumption, within 2020), the EU issued Directive ErP (Energy related Products) that specifies the minimum efficiency requirements of different equipment, including air conditioners. On these new parameters of seasonal efficiency is based the new energy label (also in force since 1 January 2013). The new energy label shows both the Seasonal Efficiency Class of the product (in compliance with EN14825) and the noise values of the indoor and outdoor units. 11 FUNCTIONING GUARANTEED The Aermec Split System units ensure high environmental comfort and can also be used in very cold climates, thanks to the Low Heating, Low Cooling and Anti-freeze functions. 12 THE COMFORT OF SILENCE NIGHT COMFORT (SLEEP MODE) The various settable programs act on the room temperature during the night, adapting it to the curve of the body temperature, thus avoiding an excessive cooling or heating. All this allows for a significant energy saving and a better quality of sleep. 14 CLEAN AND PURIFIED AIR In an increasingly polluted environment it is fundamental for well-being and health, to ensure a high level of air purity. Aermec achieves the objective with sophisticated filtering technologies able to ensure healthy and clean air in all circumstances. AIR IONISER (COLD PLASMA GENERATOR) It is able to reduce pollutants by breaking down the molecules by electrical discharges, decomposing water molecules in the air, into positive and negative ions. These ions neutralise the molecules of gaseous pollutants, obtaining products that are normally present in clean air. The device is able to eliminate 90% of bacteria. 15 THE IDEAL ENVIRONMENT Proper air diffusion and maintenance of the desired temperature in the room, is a basic requirement to ensure a better comfort for the human being. I FEEL This function detects the room temperature based on the sensor located inside the remote control and not on the medium temperature sensor inside the indoor unit. 18 MONOSPLIT The monosplit air conditioner, consisting of an indoor unit and an outdoor unit connected together, heats or cools a single room. The Aermec monosplit air conditioners cover a wide range of cooling powers from 2.5kW to 39.5kW and are available in cooling only and heat pump versions. Equipped with Inverter Technologies using only the required energy, maximising energy saving and ensuring minimum noise level and greater temperature stability. The standard special electrostatically pre-loaded filter does not simply deodorise and clean the air but, through a purification process, filters and eliminates bacteria, viruses, moulds, mites, pollen and dust. The result is fresh air, genuinely purified and healthy.
