Fill the Rinse Aid Dispenser Rinse Aid Dispenser The rinse aid is released during the final rinse to prevent water leaving spots and streaks on your dishes and utlery items. It also improves drying by allowing water to roll off the dishes. Your dishwasher is designed to use liquid rinse aid. The rinse aid dispenser is loated inside the dishwasher s door, next to the detergent dispenser. To fill the dispenser, open the ap and pour rinse aid into the dispenser until the level indiator turns ompletely blak. The volume of the rinse aid ontainer is about 110ml. Funtion of Rinse Aid Rinse aid is automatially added during the last rinse, ensuring thorough rinsing, spot and streak free drying. Attention! Only use branded rinse aid for dishwasher. Never fill the rinse aid dispenser with any other substanes (e.g. Dishwasher leaning agent, liquid detergent). This ould damage the appliane. When to Refill the Rinse Aid Dispenser If there is no rinse-aid warning light in the ontrol panel, you an judge the amount of rinse-aid by the olor of the optial level indiator "C" loated next to the ap. When the rinse-aid ontainer is full, the whole indiator will be dark.as the rinse-aid diminishes, the size of the dark dot dereases. You should never let the rinse aid get below 1 / 4 full. Full 3 / 4 full 1 / 2 full 1 / 4 full - Should refill to eliminate spotting Empty C (Rinse-Aid indiator) RINSE AID DISPENSER To open the dispenser, turn the ap to the "open" (left) arrow and lift it out. Pour the rinse aid into the dispenser, being areful not to overfill. Replae the ap by inserting it aligned with "open" arrow and turning it to the losed (right) arrow. Be areful not to overfill the dispenser, to avoid over sudsing. Wipe away any spills with a damp loth. Don't forget to replae the ap before losing the dishwasher s door. Attention! Clean up any rinse aid spilt during filling with an absorbent loth to avoid exess foaming during the next wash. 3

8 Adjusting Rinse Aid Dispenser Adjust lever (Rinse) The rinse aid dispenser has six or four settings. Always start with the dispenser set on "4". If spots and poor drying are a problem, inrease the amount of rinse aid dispensed by removing the dispenser lid and rotating the dial to "5". If the dishes still are not drying properly or are showing spots, adjust the dial to the next higher number until your dishes are spot-free. The reommended setting is "4". MAX NOTE: Inrease the dose if there are drops of water or lime spots on the dishes after washing. Redue it if there are stiky whitish stains on your dishes or a bluish film on glassware or knife blades. Important Drying Information Modern dishwashers relay on residual heat from the last rinse yle. ADD RINSE AID For best drying results use the orret type and amount of rinse aid, open the dishwasher door slightly to allow steam to esape and wait for 15 minutes before unloading the mahine. B. Funtion of Detergent Detergents with its hemial ingredients are neessary to remove dirt and transport it out of the dishwasher. Most of the ommerially available quality detergents are suitable for this purpose. Conentrated Detergent Based on their hemial omposition, detergents an be split in two basi types: onventional, alkaline detergents with austi omponents low alkaline onentrated detergents with natural enzymes The use of normal washing programs in ombination with onentrated detergents redues pollution and is good for your dishes; these wash programs are speifially mathed to the dirt-dissolving properties of the enzymes of the onentrated detergent. For this reason, normal wash programmes in whih onentrated detergents are used an ahieve the same results that ould only be ahieved by using an intensive programme. Detergent Tablets Detergent tablets of different brands dissolve at different speeds. For this reason some detergent tablets annot dissolve and develop their full leaning power during short wash programs. We reommend seleting long wash programs when using tablets, to ensure optimum effiieny and omplete removal of detergent residues. Detergent Dispenser The dispenser must be refilled before the start of eah wash yle following the instrutions following the instrutions provided in the Wash Cyle table. Your dishwasher uses less detergent and rinse aid than other onventional dishwashers. In general, one tablespoon of detergent is needed for a normal wash load. Heavily soiled dishes and utlery require more detergent. Always follow the instrutions from the detergent manufaturer s available in most supermarkets. Always add detergent and rinse aid if neessary just before starting the dishwasher, to ensure optimum leaning results. 4

The residues may blok the filter, in this ase they must be removed Filter assembly The filter system onsists of a Coarse filter, a Main filter (flat) And a mirofilter(fine filter). Main filter 1 Food and soil partiles trapped in this filter are pulverized by a speial jet on the lower spray arm and washed down to drain. Coarse filter 2 Larger items, suh as piees of bones or glass, that ould blok the drain, beome easily trapped in the ourse filter. To remove items aught in this filter, squeeze from the top of this filter gently and lift it out. Fine filter 3 This filter holds soilling and food residues in the sump area. It prevents it from being redeposited on the dishes during a wash yle. The filter effiiently removes food partiles from the wash water, allowing it to be reirulated during the yle. For best performane and results, the filter must be leaned regularly. For this reason, it is a good idea to remove the larger food partiles trapped in the filter after eah wash yle by rinsing the semiirular filter and up under running water.
