Uni Pipe PLUS consists of a seamless aluminium pipe which not only prevents oxygen from entering, but also compensates for restoring forces and linear expansion caused by changes in temperature. To achieve this, the thickness of the aluminium has been optimally adjusted for the high pressure resistance and bendability needed. Both the inside and the outside of the pipe have been equipped with a layer of polyethylene which is resistant to high temperatures (complying with DIN 16833). All the layers are then permanently joined to one another thanks to the use of a bonding agent applied between the layers. No drinking water storage tank is required. The plate heat exchanger installed in the unit rapidly heats the cold drinking water to the desired temperature at precisely the moment when the water tap is opened. This type of domestic hot water generation is hygienic and, above all, more economically efficient than conventional hot water storage tanks (boilers). Inside the stainless steel plate heat exchanger, the cold drinking water is heated with the hot heating water from the buffer storage tank. In this case the best possible conditions for the hygienic distribution of cold and hot drinking water are provided by the loop installation. The system combines the conveniences of decentralised systems with the significant investment benefits of centralised supply systems. Operating principle: In the central heating system, hot water is heated by any energy generator (fossil, regenerative or a combination). Heated to a set temperature, the hot water is stored in a buffer tank and, if necessary, reaches the individual apartments via the heating circuits. This means that each user can control the room temperature individually at any time of the year. Consumption can be accurately measured thanks to heat meters. The drinking water is heated on demand by a heat exchanger inside the Aqua Port and Combi Port without the need for storage. The heat from the heating circuits is transferred to the drinking water according to the counter-current principle. The benefits include the convenience of unlimited hot water in hygienically impeccable quality. Pipes can be cut off with a saw or pipe cutter, and sleeve couplings make installation quick and easy, even in tight spaces. No hot work is required for installation, so there is no risk of fire.
