2 ThermaCool incorporating Phase Change Material Phase Change Material Technology Installed on to an MF Ceiling system the ThermaCool Panel provides both the visible surface finish as well as additional thermal cooling through the incorporation of a microencapsulated phase change material to give buildings lightweight thermal mass. By undergoing a phase transition from solid to liquid and back to solid over a defined temperature threshold of 19 C to 23 C, the phase change material can absorb, store and release excess internal heat gains to buffer the peak internal temperatures throughout the day. 3 Blue Mats The heating and cooling mats are made of high quality polypropylene. The thin capillary tube mats are laid parallel and tight to each other. This way the heating or cooling water is evenly distributed and maximising the specific heat exchanging surface. The capillary heating system reaches very high performances with low thus efficient temperatures of heating water (24 C to 30 C). The sympatic silent cooling reaches its high performances with high thus efficient temperatures of cooling water (17 C to 19 C). Each project is individually planned and produced according to the project requirements. Installation variants: - Above ThermaCool 25mm thick, 600mm x 1000mm PCM panels. - Above ThermaCool 16mm thick, suspended ceiling lap-joint PCM panels. 4 GEO-1 Temperature Regulation System The Geo1 is a dew point controlled heating and cooling temperature management system of the GeoClima heating and cooling system. With permanent dew point temperature measuring all rooms an always conformed flow temperature level is achieved, providing maximum cooling capacity at the highest standard. By direct piloting of circulation pumps, mixer motors, switching valves as well as heater and cooling engine the Geo1 controls all functions of the GeoClima heating and cooling system. The Geo1 measures permanently outside temperature, flow and reflow temperature, room temperature as well as heating and cooling quantity supplied. Via DSL Port the Geo1 enables the user to control and change all parameters of their heating and cooling system from all over the world. The smooth and elegant design in material and function follows the gentle room climate quality of the GeoBlue system. 5 Project Planning Our individual project planning compiles all technic details for hydraulic function of the GeoClima system as well as the detailed layout for installation. During the process of planning our specialists take into consideration all architectural details concerning mat and pipe layout as well as manifold and station placement. The planner also discusses technical details concerning installation. The customer gets the planning layout for confirmation. Individual project planning contains: - Controlling of heating demand - Installation instructions - Mat layout - Connecting pipe layout - Main pipe and manifold layout - System compilation

6 Connecting system for heating systems up to 400m 2 The connecting system can be used to tie-in the capillary tube system in existing heating systems. The physical cut-off between the capillary tube system and heat generator assures an economic life time and functionality for many years. The capillary tube system is completely non-corrosive and the heat will be transferred by a heat exchanger integrated in the connecting system. The connecting system is all-purpose in many different ranges of performance. With the use of this connecting system the capillary tube system can be integrated in any existing heating system. Connecting system for single rooms The connecting system for a hydraulic cut-off between the capillary tube system and the heat generator (i.e. gas or oil fired heating, solid fuel heating) includes: - Tube bundle or plate heat exchanger - Non-pressurised expansion tank - All necessary safety equipment - Non-corrosive circulation pump for capillary tube system - Controlling of flow temperature and over temperature safety device - All components are made of non-corrosive material - The connecting system is pre-assembled - Suited for integration of 1 2 single rooms later on Connecting system for heat generator / heating storage tank The connecting system for a hydraulic cut-off between the capillary tube system and the heat generator (i.e. gas or oil fired heating, solid fuel heating) includes: - Plate heat exchanger made of stainless steel (size / dimension depends on transmission capacity - All necessary safety devices (manometer, thermometer, safety valve, overtemperature safety device, expansion tank) - Non-corrosive circulation pump for capillary tube system - Controlling of flow temperature via diving detectors - All components are made of non-corrosive material The following options are available: (Old building: 100 W/m 2, new building: 70 W/m 2, ceiling cooling: 75 W/m 2 ) 1. 7 Manifolds With Servo Drive The manifold on each floor serves and regulates each room separately with heating and cooling. The modular construction allows to connect 12 circuits to one manifold. The modules are already prepared for installation according to the individual project. The flow measuring device on the return of the manifold serves an equal distribution of all circuits with heating water. The thermal servo drives, installed on the flow of the manifold, regulates the output for each circuit. The manifolds are made of thermoplastic material. It is very solid and long lasting. The manifolds are self-insulated by air chambers. Manifold contains: - Compact manifold made of stainless steel, high temperature resistant and non-corrosive - Fixing set for wall installation - Valves with threaded connections - Regulation unit in the flow, distributing unit in the return - Coupling to polypropylene pipe 20 x 2.0mm, filling valves, air valves and thermometer - Thermal servo drives one for each circuit (24 Volt) with adapter Measures: Number of units L (mm) Slot H (mm) ca. 550 mm T (mm) ca. 150 mm

8 Connecting Pipes The PP-R pipes connect heating and cooling mats to the manifold. By welding the 4m pipes get connected to the mat fields with PP-R fittings. The layout for the main pipe system is part of our planning. The welding process is very easy even for non-professionals. The welding devices are part of our delivery or can be rented. Connecting pipe system contains: - PP-R pipes 20 x 2.0mm (DN15) for connection of mats and manifold - Fittings for PP-pipes 20 x 2.0mm as straight connectors, elbows and caps, couplings - Fixing material as clips and sleeves - All components are non-corrosive Connecting Pipes The main pipes connecting all floors one with each other are also made of polypropylene. This guarantees an easy installation with the same welding device. The couplings for connection of the main pipes with the heater as well as with the manifolds are non-corrosive. Main pipe system contains: - Polypropylene pipe from 32 x 2.8mm to 75 x 6.9mm - Fittings as straight connectors, elbows, tees and couplings - Reducers and couplings of PP-R and red brass - Ball valves - Fixing sleeves - All components are non-corrosive

9 Electric Regulation Set We use an electric regulation splitter to connect room regulators with the thermal servo drives and electric power supply (24 Volt). The splitter guarantees an easy and quick installation. The set contains: - Splitter 24 / 230 Volt (trafo included) - Plug connector, 230 Volt (electric wiring not included) Room Regulator for Heating The room temperature is permanently measured by a sensor in the room regulator. The regulator tunes the room temperature to the level set by the user. It opens or closes the drive on the manifold thus the room temperature can be regulated easily according to the needs of the user. Regulator: - Room regulator for heating 24 Volt, RAL 9010 (for installation on plaster) Room Regulator for Heating and Cooling For the regulation of the GeoClima heating and cooling system a special temperature regulator is necessary. In summer the room regulators are switched to central cooling and in winter to heating. A dew point sensor controls the humidity. If the humidity is too high the regulator interrupts the cooling process to avoid condensation on the cooling surfaces.
