3 About... About us Bio-Blaze, a family owned Belgium company founded in 2002, aims at offering the market a range of revolutionary flue less fireplaces. About our fireplaces No chimney! No gas! No smoke! This means that everyone can enjoy the warmth of a real flame. The Bio-Blaze fireplaces run on bio-ethanol fuel and do not need a chimney. They do not rely on any external connection (electricity or gas). The design of the fireplaces are specifically created for either interior and exterior use and decoration. Their natural yellow flames will instantly create a cozy atmosphere. In a condo, house or loft, on a balcony or in a garden, they can be easily attached to a wall, placed in an open space or put on a coffee table. About bio-ethanol Bio-Blaze bio-ethanol is a renewable energy source made by the fermentation of sugars or starches derived from wheat, corn, sugar beets, sugar cane, beetroot, and any other plant that alcoholic beverages can be made from. This makes bio-ethanol a 100% biological product. The Bio-Blaze bio-ethanol is highly purified and denatured to avoid human consumption. The combustion of Bio-Blaze bio-ethanol results in a clean emission without soot or other by-products. Therefore, Bio-Blaze fireplaces do not require a chimney. The heat generated by the combustion of bio-ethanol stays in the room, which makes burning Bio- Blaze bio-ethanol so efficient and effective.
