The projects concept is to deliver a marché or marketplace dining experience. The nine culinary concept stations each has its own seating, décor, lighting and service ware. LTI built and installed a variety of custom counters to expand on the design concepts and enhance the dining experience. Custom features include a circular counter around a display kitchen, the counter are manufactured from a variety of materials and finishes including: stainless steel, 3-form, laminate, barn wood, Corian, and quartz. 7

The architect s vision for Smith College was of a 25 long, football shaped coffee bar wrapped in stainless and solid surface. To meet that expectation LTI built an oven to heat the material enabling us to form full size Corian sheets to the required radius and angles. Because the architect required a seamless stainless steel body, panels were formed from a single 24 sheet of stainless steel. When they wanted stainless steel tubing on the radius edge, we made the ends disappear into infinity. Weiss/Manfredi Architects won multiple awards for the design of the Smith College Campus Center, with LTl s counter right at the heart of the building. CASESTUDY Land O Lakes High School, Land O Lakes, Florida LTI s primary goal with this renovation was to design more of a college servery, one that was perceived to be more high-end than a high school cafeteria. The newlyrenovated space converted a small storage closet into usable serving space. We kept the seven cashiers and the two U shaped serverys but incorporated different serving stations into each line. We utilized OnePoint counters and Corian countertops and tray slides to give it the look and feel they were hoping for to make students even more proud of where they dine. QuickSwitch wells, Black Ceran Glass merchandisers, and refrigerated display cases to keep the look fresh and students coming back for more. Previously the space was a fairly standard layout with five serving lines. This is the first renovation to the building that was built in The old equipment was a mix up of unrelated pieces with all prep done in the back of the house.
