Among cooling and heating systems, the radiant systems at low temperature have a significant potential in achieving indoor comfort both in Winter and Summer, according to the objectives of energy savings required by the legislation. Among the numerous advantages of the radiant systems at low temperature there is the possibility of installation in buildings with different intended use such as residential buildings, offices, museums, places of worship and industrial buildings. Moreover, they are suited both for new buildings and renovations. The combination with high efficiency generators (condensing boilers, heat pumps...) ensures energy savings and a high level of comfort, given by the absence of airflow and noises. The systems are designed and manufactured specifically for each building and can be equipped with a wide range of control systems. This is the context for the classification of energy efficiency with the index RSEE which defines the standards to maximize the comfort and minimize the consumptions of such systems. 8 9

8 ceiling radiant system installation advantages PATENTED snap-in fitting UT s panels connection does not require specific and impractical tools: it is just sufficient to press the button on the joint to hook and unhook it. It takes just a few and simple gestures to install the UT ceiling radiant system. In addition to the modular adaptability and standard supports, the inner backbone pipes are equipped with a three way end fitting which ensure a fast and safe fixing. The installation of the general equipment can be made on the ceiling, in the technical space between the UT panel structure and the false ceiling. This is a perfect solution for the present-day plant building, which allows a right and easy distribution of the technical components keeping clean and safe during the installation phase of the construction process. The ceiling becomes an active part of the building site, while the passage below is unobstructed and free from any obstacles. The 2400x1200 mm panel can be combined in order to obtain new sub-modules which increase the adaptability of the radiating surface. The panel can be connected in series up to 20 panels for a total length of 48 m.
