2 KSD PEX Tubing Product Specifications KSD PEX Hydronic for heating use KSD PEX Hydronic is a crosslinked polyethylene oxygen barrier tubing manufactured in accordance with NSF/ANSI 14, ASTM F876 and F877. KSD PEX Hydronic is designed for use in closed loop hydronic heating applications and bears the NSF-pw certification mark. KSD PEX Hydronic meets DIN 4726 as endorsed by the Hydronic Institute. KSD PEX Hydronic coil lengths up to 1000 feet are foot marked for installation convenience. KSD PEX Hydronic comes in a distinctive Bright Red color. KSD PEX Hydronic is manufactured to CTS outside diameters and SDR9 and has the following pressure/temperature ratings: Type B F F F NSF KSD PEX Plumbing for potable water use KSD PEX Plumbing is a crosslinked polyethylene tubing manufactured in accordance with NSF/ANSI 14, ASTM F876 and F877. KSD PEX Plumbing is designed for use in potable hot and cold water distribution systems and bears the NSF-pw certification mark. KSD PEX Plumbing complies with NSF Protocol P171 for both domestic continuous re-circulation and traditional domestic use. KSD PEX Plumbing exceeds the requirement of ASTM F876 when tested in accordance with ASTM F2023 for chlorine resistance. KSD PEX Plumbing can be used with brass or copper PEX insert fittings utilizing copper crimp rings that are in accordance with ASTM F1807, Plastic PEX insert fittings utilizing copper crimp rings in accordance with ASTM F2159, and cold expansion fittings with metal compression sleeves in accordance with ASTM F2080. KSD PEX Plumbing is manufactured to CTS outside diameters and SDR9 and has the following temperature pressure ratings: Type B F F F NSF KSD PEX Fittings Product Specifications Forged Brass insert fittings for PEX tubing KSD PEX inserts are CSA certified to meet all applicable U.S. standards of ANSI and NSF (ASTM F877,F1807-NSF61 - CSA B137.5)

7 25 Year Limited Warranty KSD PEX Plumbing and KSD PEX Hydronic Warranty Subject to the conditions and limitations in this Limited Warranty, KSD guarantees its KSD PEX Plumbing and KSD PEX Hydronic pipe against defects resulting from faulty manufacturing for 25 years from the initial date of sale by KSD. KSD will not be liable for damages caused by raw materials or component defect failures. Defects and failures must be reported to KSD within 30 days after such failure occurs. The claimant under this Limited Warranty will be required to return the product to KSD at claimants expense for analysis by KSD. If the conditions of the Limited Warranty are met, KSD will ship, free of charge and freight prepaid, a quantity of product equal to the failed product or will reimburse the purchase price of the failed product at KSD's option. In no case, will claims for labor charges, consequential property damage or personal injury be honored. This warranty made by KSD and is expressly in lieu of all other warranties expressed by anyone or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The Limited Warranty will only apply: 1. If the product is installed in accordance with good plumbing and heating practices, applicable code requirements and KSD's current published installation instructions and, 2.
