3 Presentation Characteristics This Blower Pack is a steam room ventilation unit which combines performance with design and efficiency with limited size for a maximum flowrate of 30 kg/h. It performs best in a room where the Relative Humidity and temperature does not exceed 75% and 60 C. This Blower Pack can be supplied either for 15 kg/h or 30 kg/h flowrates and can be used (in combination) for our complete lines of humidifiers CMC, MC2, RTH-LC and RTH-V2. 4 Installation BP1 & BP2 SET ON TOP OF HUMIDIFIER The BP1 and BP2 can be installed on the top of the following humidifiers : ElectroVap CMC, MC2 5 to 30, RTH-LC 5 to 15 and RTH-V2 5 to 30. For the larger capacities, it should be installed separately and in combination (s.a. pict. 2, 3 and 4). For a correct steam dispersion, we would recommend that the minimal distances of installation given on pict. 1 be adhered to. The steam connection between the ventilation unit and the humidifier is ensured by a steam hose (either Ø 25 or 40 mm according to the model of humidifier). A Ø 60/40 mm adaptor union must be used for humidifiers RTH-V2 5 to 30. 5 Installation Wall installation The BP1 & BP2 ventilation units can be wall mounted (s.a. pict. 2). It is essential that the minimal installation distances be met. In case of steam capacities superior to 30 kg/h such as for humidifiers RTH-V2 40 & 50, a combination of two BP2s will be required. In such a case, a Ø 60 2xØ 40 mm Y union will be necessary and a slop of 15 must be kept. The two ventitation units must be equaly distant (X=3 m.) : X1 = X2 Pict..2 X1 X2 1 1 The two Blower Packs Equilibrage must be equally du réseau distant vapeur X, X1 soit = X2 X1=X2 Pict..3 3 meters mètres maxi. 6 Installation As far as the ElectroVap MC2 40 to 60 are concerned, a Ø 40 mm steam hose ensures the connection between the humidifier and the ventilation unit. DETAIL A In case an ElectroVap RTH-V2 60, you should use two Ø60-40 mm adaptors (s.a. Pict. 4). 7 Installation Electrical wiring Blower Pack BP1 3 4 The electrical supply is made on terminals 3 & 4 on the Din rail of the steam humidifier s series CMC, MC2, RTH-LC and RTH-V2. Blower Pack BP2 3 4 IMPORTANT : For best performances, the humidifier menu «Configuration changing menu» must be preset for use with the Blower Pack. Dial access code , scroll menu up or down to get sub-menu TERMIN.3-4 (230V) and select «ROOM VENTIL». Validate the selection. (for version programme V2.21 and up) CHANGING CONFIGU- RATION MENU With the humidifier switched on, press the key and the first digit will flash. Press the (2) key to increase or (3) key to decrease the first figure to enter of the access code. Press (1) to confirm. The next digit will start to flash.
