3 Where loved ones will be remembered amidst fragrant roses and garden walks One of the greatest symbols of love and remembrance, roses are everywhere in Woronora. Our magnificent Rose Gardens give our gardeners full rein to their passion for this timeless bloom. The formal gardens, which are celebrated in the Shire Community, brim with colour and delight. Every hue is on show, from sweet pinks to deep rich reds, cheerful yellows and delicate whites. Some of the bushes date back to the 1930s. The garden itself is laid out in an elaborate pattern that, from the air, is revealed as a stained glass window. A wonderful fusion of colour and harmony, our Rose Gardens are a charming and gentle place to create an enduring and lifeaffirming memorial to your loved ones. Placed along the borders, Garden Walk Positions allow family and friends to reflect on loved ones with a small plaque that lies beneath a favourite rose. Within the central Gazebo, simple and elegant Granite Rose Rings offer a place to reflect and remember as you gaze on the glories of the garden in full flower. While a Family Estate, surrounded by its own private border, is a lovely way to keep your family together.

4 Situated overlooking Karinya Gardens and Serenity Walk, the elegant Centenary Court offers wonderful vistas from every direction. Step inside the flowing corridors and find yourself in a gracious, open-aired piazza with simple and discreet Niche Walls surrounding you. Palm trees lend an air of deep serenity, while the Book of Remembrance is turned each day, to allow you to record special details of your loved one s memorial in artistic calligraphy. Surrounding the central building, pleasant gardens allow for gentle strolls and quiet contemplation. Cloistered niche walls offer a modest and moving tribute to your loved one with generous and expansive views across the park. Within the gardens, Centenary Court offers a range of lovely memorial choices, from Granite Family Estates, Family Gardens or Rose Family Estates. At its centre, a traditional gazebo provides a place to sit and enjoy the sounds of nature and the deep, soulful quiet. Celebrating natural beauties, Serenity Walk offers wonderful Bushrocks themes ideal for creating a restful memorial, for one person or a family. Or choose a delightful Garden Walk position along the borders of the tropical gardens. Simple and understated, Granite Niche Walls offer a timeless way to remember in a picturesque spot.

6 Nestled at the bottom of the slope, our Mary Gilmore Garden takes its name from one of Australia s most famous journalists and poets. A passionate and vivid chronicler of Australian life, Mary s garden is one that celebrates the unassuming joys of the Australian bush. Scribbly gums tower overhead, their straight trunks forming natural columns that encircle the simple gardens beneath. Far from the world s cares, the air rings with the sound of birdsong. Elegant and understated Niche Walls seem to blend into the setting, while Family Estate Memorials dot the garden, completely immersed in their relaxed surroundings. 7 Enjoy a rare moment of solitude with your memories in a very special place Deep within Woronora s grounds, Tranquil Gardens is a moving memorial within a naturally inspired setting. Gymea lilies, sacred to the local Aboriginal community, stretch their massive, flame-red flower skywards, while rosemary bushes offer a traditional symbol of remembrance. A gentle water feature sits nearby. This private place is home to our symbolic Doorway of Hope. A memorial unlike any in Australia, it provides a place to honour those who have gone missing, most probably deceased without any recognition of passing. As in many cases a death certificate has never been issued. Offering a rare opportunity for stillness and calm, Tranquil Gardens is a place where you can stop, reflect and acknowledge your deepest feelings of love, loss, yet hope.
