9 Page 4 of 67 Report No Summary of testing General Power supply 1.1.2; The unit is intended to operate at an altitude of up to 5000m. All comments relate to all models, unless specifically stated. The equipment is an enclosed, Class I switch mode power supply with universal AC input and two DC voltage outputs for building-in. This report covers multiple models and all comments / tests apply to all models unless otherwise indicated. This equipment is intended to be operated at an altitude of up to 5000 m, so the clearance is multiplied by the altitude correction factor (1.48), specified in table A.2 of IEC nd Edition: Refer to Tables and , 3.2.5; Power supply cord set. A power supply cord set is not provided with the power supply. The units have two outputs: V1: 12VDC and VSB: 12VDC. The following PWB assemblies are provided: Main, Control, Inlet and Card edge PWB. The main PWB is stalled on chassis stand offs by screws. Control PWB and Inlet PWB are mounted vertically on the main PWB through multi-pin connectors, Card edge PWB is mounted also on the main PWB through multi-pin connector close to output. The units are provided with AC inlet, fan, insulators and LED indicators. The fan is installed at bracket of main PWB close to front panel, air flow from rear to front panel; Insulating foil is provided between PWB assemblies and enclosure. The LED indicators are installed on the front panel. The following isolating transformers are mounted on main PWB, including gate driver transformer T1, auxiliary transformer T3 (Class B) and main transformer T2 (Class F). Model differences: Model PES NA is base model. Model PES NAP is exactly same as PES NA except for AC Inlet type. PES NAP has C22 type AC inlet while PES NA uses C20 AC inlet. TRF No. IEC60950_1F

14 Page 9 of 67 Report No Conditions of Acceptability: The following must be evaluated at end use: 1) The power supply is to be installed only by trained service personnel. 2) Evaluated as Class I (earthed equipment). Reliable earth connection shall be provided in the end use installation. Limited short-circuit test with 1500A test current has been conducted on the PWB GND trace from AC inlet pin to chassis. 3) Evaluated for use in a Pollution Degree 2 environment, up to 5000 m altitude, 55 C ambient. Temperature tests shall be considered for specific installation conditions in the end system. 4) A suitable Electrical and Fire Enclosure shall be provided on rear side of the power supply. Front panel has been evaluated and meets fire, electrical and mechanical enclosure. 5) All secondary output circuits are SELV. 6) Secondary V1: 12V output is at Hazardous energy level. 7) The output connector has not been evaluated for field wiring. 8) The Connector Current Interruption Test was performed on the output connector for 200 cycles (insertion/withdrawal). Testing for additional cycles shall be determined during the end product evaluation, depending on end product application. 9) The equipment was tested on a listed 40 A branch circuit.
