Jeff Murphy, President CEO, ECT Services, Inc. Facilities managers are faced with providing security within their jurisdiction. What used to be a simple task has morphed into a complex topic that requires the integration of public safety, private security, risk management, and policies and procedures. This session will focus on various requirements and methods for providing security, as well as ideas for integrating physical and operational security with the use of personnel, technology, and policy. The session will also address key technology trends related to security systems and the tight integration of intercom, lighting, video, elevators, fire alarm, and HVAC systems. ABOUT THE SPEAKERS STEVE BAIAMONTE is the General Services Division Administrator for the Montana Department of Administration. His division is responsible for Facilities O/M, Leasing, Procurement, Graphics Production, Mail Services, Recycling, Surplus Property, and Security. Additionally he serves as the Director of Security for the Montana State Capitol Complex. Steve is retired from the Montana Department of Justice. In his last assignment he served as the Commander of the Dignitary Protection Detail. Steve has 24 years of physical security experience. RICK KEEBLER is the Director of Business Development for Lenel Systems International, a division of United Technologies Corporation. Lenel is a leading provider in electronic security and offers a comprehensive portfolio of products to meet your access control, closed circuit television (CCTV), and known for its open platform, inter-operable integration capability to over rd party solutions, and our advanced services teams. In addition to Lenel, Rick has been in leadership roles with GE Security, Sensormatic/Tyco, Siemens, and Schneider Electric. He has over (30) years of experience in manufacturing, sales, installation and support for some of the largest security deployments in the world. JEFF MURPHY is the President and CEO of ECT Services, Inc. which designs, develops, installs and integrates technology systems, such as temperature controls, energy management, lighting, security, intrusion, and intercom. Jeff has over thirty (30) years of experience in projects and technology teams related to technology systems, including discrete and analog process control, HVAC systems, HVAC control systems, security systems including access control, intercom, intrusion alarm, video surveillance, and fire alarm.
