5 IRZ TMS DOWNHOLE MONITORING SYSTEM The IRZ TMS downhole monitoring system is designed to monitor and transfer the following parameters during oil production: pump intake pressure motor oil pressure motor oil temperature pump intake temperature motor stator winding temperature motor vibration level power cable and motor insulation resistance IRZ TMS operates as part of ESP systems. With the parameters monitored by IRZ TMS, the pump control system can: protect the pump optimize pump operation automatically maintain the level of fluid in the well collect data for downhole production tests How it works Downhole data comes from the downhole sensor via the motor power cable to the surface acquisition unit and the surface acquisition unit processes it and transfers to the external device (control station). Depending on the delivery configuration, the downhole monitoring system can display realtime parameters, transfer real-time parameters to the user s server via a GSM channel and save realtime parameters to a USB flash drive. With the help of the communication software, the user can view real-time parameters and control station operation log (history), make graphs and convert data to Excel or WellView format. The IRZ TMS system consists of two units: BP-103M downhole sensor TMS-E5 or ASPT surface acquisition unit The downhole sensor is connected to the bottom of the motor either directly or through a motor adapter supplied individually for the specific type of the motor. The TMS-E5 surface acquisition unit is installed inside the control station. One of the two systems proposed, IRZ TMS-R1, is designed for oil production (fig.1a) and for pumping fluid from a lower layer to an upper layer (fig.1b). 16 IRZ TEK HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE SYSTEM SPRUT The SPRUT hardware and software system is intended for real-time monitoring of multilayer formations production in wells equipped with ESPs Function Monitoring of multilayer production is performed with the use of a standard motor power cable which transfers geophysical, hydrodynamic and process data from complex multiparameter measuring modules and a DH sensor installed below ESP. Data from the DH sensor and integrated multiparameter measuring modules come via the motor power cable in digital form without distortion. The DH monitoring system monitors process parameters of ESP and environment in the oil well. The BP103D downhole sensor with temperature, pressure and vibration sensors and with a unit used to receive data from the geophysical module is fixed at the bottom part of ESP. BP103D has a standard connector at its bottom end to connect to the logging cable. The ASPT surface acquisition unit is installed outside the control station of any manufacturer and doesn t require any modification of the control station. 36 IRZ TEK CENTRALIZED CONTROL SYSTEM KDU IRZ Function Remote monitoring and control of oilfield equipment in order to improve the production process, reduce costs and to improve efficiency of oil production. Description The Centralized Control System has hierarchic threelevel structure. The lower level comprises primary measuring transducers and actuating mechanisms involved into the production process and control stations for local automatic equipment (control stations for electrical submersible pumps, sucker-rod pumps and group metering stations). The middle level comprises production process control stations, i.e. IRZ , 08, 02, 16, that receive data from sensors and primary measuring transducers of the lower level and transfer the data to a master controller.
