7 The Quick Fix All our panels are equipped with the Quick Fix function. It is a mechanism mounted at each side of the 1U panel, making both the fi xation, installation and maintenance extremely simple. The guiding fi ngers and the pre-mounted screws make it possible to insert and fi x the panel very easily. To release the panel from the rack you just have to push the button and the panel slides out smoothly. Use the integrated label holder to give the panel a unique identity inside the rack. P11569 P P P The all-in-one concept The main secret behind the success of LexCom is the all-in-one-concept, which means that all the items you need are already included in the pre-equipped panel. So getting everything to work safely together will not be a challenge to anybody. It s refi ned and exquisite in its simplicity. P P The sliding function The sliding function, which is one of the clever effects provided by the Quick Fix, is a great bonus to you. You can easily slide out the panel to provide the best working position for you. Very convenient and ergonomically pleasing. If you want, you can of course also easily remove the panel from the rack. Just push the release buttons. The smart cable management At the rear of the data panel you can easily install cables of various diameters in the smart cable organizer. Numbering in the rear and at the front facilitates cable identifi cation. And fi nally, the guiding panel with openable rings and a clever device that prevents cords from falling out. P P P P P The self-instructive assembly Don t be alarmed by the high-tech look and feel of the LexCom panels. There is no thick user s guide or technical manual to be read before starting the installation. The whole system is constructed in a rather uncomplicated and self-instructive manner. One example is the smart rear quick-fi xation of fibre optic cables. 7

8 Schneider Electric proudly presents: The LexCom 19" product range LexCom includes three kinds of panels; data, fibre optic and telecom. They are all developed with a lot of innovative features like Quick Fix and sliding function, smart cable management and a very clear marking. Of course power panels are also part of our offer. You can choose between unshielded and shielded data panels for categories 5 and 6. The shielded version manages up to Cat 6A. With the fibre optic panel you can take advantage of the protective, transparent lids and an integrated guiding function for the patchcords. The telecom panel offers a capacity of 50 ports with a cleverly designed guiding structure. Best of all; the panels are also available pre-equipped to simplify both installation and ordering. 8

9 The data panel The data panel contains a front configuration for 24 RJ45 connectors. To make your life easier, it is also available preequipped with connectors, label holders and a rear cable organizer. Thanks to the Quick Fix function it is also very easy to slide out. Clear front marking Each panel plate has an openable label holder to get a clear and safe cable management. You can print your own labels or use the included versions with pre-printed port numbers. Rear position numbers The cable numbers at the rear correspond to the ones at the front. This makes installation and maintenance simpler from both sides of the rack. Automatic earthing The panel is prepared for automatic earthing of the connectors. P P P P P

10 The fibre optic panel This panel really covers your needs! Available in two versions, one for direct termination and one for splices. The capacity is 24 fi bres and it has transparent lids for protection and a clear visibility of the inside. It can hold up to 4 cover plates and is delivered with 3 blank ones. The plates can be ordered with or without adapters. P Integrated guiding panel Here is one of the proofs of the LexCom all-in-onethinking: A patchcord guiding panel, with smoothly shaped edges to protect the cords, is already integrated, so there is no need to add a separate one, which would demand another 1U space. Coiling wheels To keep the fi bres in place and avoid tension on the connectors, the panel is equipped with coiling wheels. This will also provide a correct bending radius of the fi bres. P Excellent protection and clear marking The covers are transparent to provide effi cient protection and a good overview. Identifying the cable you are looking for will never be a problem, since the marking is clear. The covers are also easily opened for quick access. P

11 The telecom panel The smart and high capacity telecom patch panel provides up to 50 connections. Believe it or not, but the sliding function is so stable and robust that you can use the punch-down tool with the panel in a sliding-out position. Very convenient! Punch-down tool To obtain quick and reliable telecom cable connections, use the convenient punch-down tool for LSA sockets. Cable identification You will never wonder about which cable goes where. The marking system is very clear on the clever fi xing guides. P P P P
