2 SAFESCAN INTERCEPT PILLARS Established the benchmark as the premiere and most cost effective dual pass-through ferromagnetic detector in the marketplace. Freestanding or mounted, the variable-aperture dualpillar INTERCEPT PILLAR system can be configured for nearly any siting condition. For doorway protection, there is no superior product to the dual INTERCEPT PILLAR system. Narrower configurations provide greater sensitivity for small ferromagnetic threats. Constructed from rigid aluminum tubing and the highest quality components, this dual-pillar system is designed to endure vigorous use in all clinical MRI environments. 3 SAFESCAN TARGET SCANNER The single most affordable ferromagnetic detector for both ambulatory and nonambulatory patients, the hand-held TARGET SCANNER provides unrivaled sensitivity as the operator is able to get very close to the screening area. Excellent for localizing screenings in conjunction with either the SAFESCAN INTERCEPT PILLAR or STAR, the TARGET SCANNER has proven to be of great value to hundreds of MRI facilities. Available in freestanding configuration, the SAFESCAN STAR can be set up by the end user in minutes, saving installation charges.
