2 INTRODUCTION The Graduate Recessed is the latest addition to our Graduate range of luminaires. Offering the direct/indirect gull-wing aesthetic common to many traditional fluorescent luminaires, the Graduate Recessed has the added benefit of LED technology. Using the latest Lumileds LEDs we are able to offer the Graduate Recessed in a wide range of lumen outputs, and options, recessed or semi-recessed versions and pull up or lay in housings with long LED design life providing excellent efficiency with minimal maintenance. The 2861llm luminaire lumen and the 5722llm luminaire lumen variants fall below the 3000 candela limit and are therefore suitable for installation in applications with VDUs in use such as schools, hospitals and universities. This performance is complimented with a wide range of options allowing the Graduate Recessed to be tailored to suit most applications, including emergency in standard, self test and autotest options and dimming in analogue, switch dimming, DALI dimming, DSI and white tunable. All luminaires are supplied fully flush as standard, however the central optic is fully adjustable and can be lowered to a semi recessed position during installation if required. We are also able to offer this range with air handling, a unique feature amongst our LED modular range at present. Performance The 2861llm lumen ( ) and the 7132llm lumen ( ) variants fall below the 3000 candela limit and are suitable for use in offices and classrooms. Although lumen packages will always remain the same, lumens per watt will only improve in line with developments in LED chip technology. This offers improved performance and greater efficiency. 7 GRDP 1200x600 GRDR 1200x600 WARRANTY All Dextra products are supplied with a 12 month warranty for any defect that may occur with the product during this time. Any defect will either be repaired on site free of charge or the defective product may be replaced on a chargeable basis and credit given against defective product returned. The course of action taken will be at our discretion and dependent on the nature of the defect. The control gear within our high frequency and LED luminaires is further underwritten by our suppliers for a period of up to 5 years in total from the time of purchase. This comprises labour and parts for the first 3 years and free of charge components only for the final 2 years. PROTEC LED FR 8W GU10 luminaires and all Emergency LED ranges such as LED 3, EXI, HBE, OAT, OEZ, AME, OEH and TWS * are exempt from the 5 year warranty and are supplied with 1 year warranty only. PROTEC LED COB luminaires are supplied with a two year warranty for replacement luminaires only. All warranties are subject to correct use of the product and will be invalidated by misuse, for example incorrect installation or unsuitable environmental conditions. It is the duty of the customer to ensure that all relevant tests have been carried out prior to requesting site visits or replacement products, for example replacement of lamps, commissioning of sensors and inspection of external wiring. In the event that no defect is found with the product our costs for attending site will be recharged to the customer and credit will not be issued against returned products. No consequential losses incurred resulting from any defect with our product will be reimbursed. Consumable commodities such as lamps, starters and batteries are excluded from these warranty terms. 10 Graduate LED (Pull-up and Lay-in) Installation V / 50-60Hz IP20 IK Installation for Pull-up version WARNING - THIS LUMINAIRE MUST BE EARTHED This luminaire has been tested and is manufactured to comply with BS EN : specification for general requirements and tests. It should be installed by a suitably qualified person in accordance with IEE. CAUTION: there is a potential risk of electric shock from the LED boards when the product is operational with the cover removed. NOTE: INSTALLATION AND OPERATION OF THE LUMINAIRE BEYOND ITS SCOPE OF SUPPLY WILL INVALIDATE THE WARRANTY. 2 Pre-install the pull-up bracket/ lumafix (x4) as shown. Reflector Remove both reflectors. Lumafix bracket 3 4 Adjuster the diffuser to the position (higher or lower) as required. Typical celling grid Higher position Place the luminare in the celling, adjust the Lumafix positions as needed. Lower position 5 6 Wire the mains cable to the Terminal Block. Replace the reflectors.
