2 Background More than 10,000 mobile radioac=ve sources are used daily around the world for commercial purposes. Sources are most vulnerable from thef or loss when in transit and use away from base of opera=on. The thef or loss of a source has become a significant event for companies both financially and their reputa=on. Improved visibility of source loca=on and use is needed to improve situa=onal awareness to responsible personnel and company leadership.
