Store the product tightly closed in the original container. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place, away from food, seed and animal feeds. Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals. Re-entry: Do not enter treated area until spray deposit has dried unless wearing protective clothing. Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions the registration holder does not warrant that it will be efficacious under all conditions because the action and effect thereof may be affected by factors such as abnormal climatic and storage conditions; quality of dilution water; compatibility with other substances not indicated on the label and the occurrence of resistance of fungal pathogens against the remedy concerned as well as by the method, time and accuracy of application. The registration holder furthermore does not accept responsibility for damage to crops, vegetation, the environment or harm to man or animal or for lack of performance of the remedy concerned due to failure of the user to follow the label instructions or to the occurrence of conditions, which could not have been foreseen in terms of the registration. Consult the supplier in the event of any uncertainty.

3 PRECAUTIONS Avoid inhalation of vapours. Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and clothes. Wear suitable protective gloves during mixing, loading, and impermeable coveralls during spray operations. Wash immediately with soap and water after application and accidental skin contact. In case of eye contact, rinse the eyes thoroughly with plenty of clean, cold water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation persists obtain medical aid. Do not eat, drink or smoke whilst applying or mixing or before washing hands and face and change of clothing. Harmful to fish or other aquatic life, do not contaminate surface waters or ditches with chemical or used containers. Prevent drift onto other crops, grazing, rivers, dams or areas not under treatment. Prevent contamination of food, feed, drinking water and eating utensils. Clean applicator after use and dispose of wash water where it will not contaminate food, grazing, rivers or dams. Invert the empty container over the spray or mixing tank and allow to drain for at least 30 seconds after the flow has slowed to a drip. Thereafter rinse the empty container three times with a volume of water equal to a minimum of 10% of that of the container. Add the rinsate to the contents of the spray tank. Destroy the empty container and do not use for any other purpose. SYMPTOMS OF HUMAN POISONING FIRST AID TREATMENT In case of eye contact, rinse the eyes thoroughly with plenty of clean, cold water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation persists obtain medical aid. NOTE TO PHYSICIAN There is no known antidote. In the case of poisoning treat symptomatically. RESISTANCE WARNING VALIS M is a group codes 40 and M3 fungicide. Any fungus population may contain individuals naturally resistant to VALIS M and any other group codes 40 and M3 fungicides. The resistant individuals can eventually dominate the fungus population if these fungicides are used repeatedly. These resistant fungi may not be controlled by VALIS M or any other group codes 40 or M3 fungicides. TO DELAY FUNGICIDE RESISTANCE: avoid exclusive repeated use of fungicides from the same fungicide group code. Alternate or tank mix with products from different fungicide group codes, for tank mixing or alternation with products in fungicide group codes 40 and M, refer to applicable individual product labels, integrate other control methods (chemical, cultural, biological) into disease control programmes. For specific information on resistance management contact the registration holder or local distributor of this product. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: USE ONLY AS DIRECTED. PRODUCT PROPERTIES VALIS M contains 6% Valifenalate and 60% Mancozeb. VALIS M is a systemic fungicide for use on selected crops to control diseases caused by different Oomycetes species. Valifenalate shows preventive, curative, eradicant and anti-sporulant properties. Mancozeb is a contact fungicide effective against a wide range of fungal pathogens. Grapes: VALIS M is to be used as foliar application in a preventive disease control programme. Apply as a high volume application, ensuring good coverage. Use 300 to 1500 l water per hectare depending on the growth stage do not exceed a dosage of 2.5 kg VALIS M /ha. Start application at 10cm shoot length. Repeat application every days up to, and not later than, beginning of January. Reduce the spray interval to 10 days when conditions of rapid crop growth occur together with climatological conditions that favour the disease.

4 Table grapes: Do not apply after pea berry stage (BBCH 75) has been reached to avoid visible residues at harvest. Potatoes and Tomatoes VALIS M is to be used as a foliar application in a preventive disease control programme. Apply the first spray when conditions for primary infection occur. If a late blight warning is issued for the area, apply the first spray immediately, irrespective of the growth stage of the crop. Repeat application every 7 10 days. Reduce the spray interval to 7 days when conditions of rapid crop growth occur together with climatological conditions that favour the disease. Potatoes: In the absence of a blight warning, applications should be made starting from the end of the growing stage of the haulm in order to get better results. Apply a minimum of 500 litre spray mix per hectare increasing up to 750 litre spray mix per hectare in potatoes, depending on plant height and size. Apply especially when flowers are forming and to lower leaves where infection may start. In tomatoes apply between 300 and 750 l/ha depending on plant size. In case of very low disease pressure, longer intervals between two consecutive applications of VALIS M, up to 10 days, can be applied. When plants mature and senesce or are under stress, especially drought stress, the efficacy of VALIS M will be impaired and disease control can be reduced. COMPATIBILITY: The compatibility of VALIS M with other products may vary. A physical compatibility test must always be performed before such tank mixture is sprayed. When VALIS M is used in conjunction with any other agricultural remedy, adhere to all WARNINGS, PRECAUTIONS and DIRECTIONS FOR USE mentioned on that label. MIXING INSTRUCTIONS: Premix the required quantity of VALIS M with a small amount of water in another container to obtain a slurry. Half-fill the mixing tank with clean water. Begin agitation. Add the slurry into the mixing tank through a 50-mesh sieve, and fill the mixing tank to the required volume of water. Ensure continuous agitation during mixing and application. The spray mixture must be sprayed immediately after mixing. Prepared spray mixture must not be left in the spray tank for any length of time, e.g. overnight. APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: VALIS M must be applied with a correctly calibrated conventional high volume ground sprayer, which is in a good working order. It is recommended to fit hollow cone nozzles to achieve spray of fine to medium droplets. Nozzle spray patterns should overlap just above the top of the crop. Allow foliage to dry before applying VALIS M after rainfall or irrigation. Apply in sufficient water to achieve thorough coverage of foliage. The application interval depends on the relative threat of the disease to the crop. Both downy mildew and late blight are favoured by cooler temperatures and long periods of high relative humidity. Spray as soon as possible after an infection period. CROP DISEASE DOSAGE USE INSTRUCTIONS POTATO Late blight (Phytophthora infestans) 2.5 kg VALIS M / hectare Ground application: Do not apply more than 4 sprays of VALIS M per season. In the case of tractor-mounted spray equipment, ensure good coverage of the entire plant, especially the upper and lower surfaces of the leaves. Apply 2.5 kg/ha VALIS M in a minimum 500 l water on young plants and increase spray mix volume gradually as plants grow to ensure good coverage of all surfaces. Precede, or follow, the VALIS M sprays with other registered fungicides of a

Ground application: Do not apply more than 4 sprays of VALIS M per season. In the case of tractor-mounted spray equipment, ensure good coverage of the entire plant, especially the upper and lower surfaces of the leaves. Apply 2.5 kg/ha VALIS M in a minimum 300 l water on young plants and increase spray mix volume gradually as plants grow to ensure good coverage of all surfaces. Precede, or follow, the VALIS M sprays with other registered fungicides of a different chemical group appropriate for the diseases as mentioned. Apply the first spray of VALIS M when conditions for primary infection occur. Use a minimum of 300 l spray mix per hectare for early growth stages and increase spray mix volume gradually as plants grow, up to 1500 l spray mix per hectare for mature plants. Reduce the spray interval to 10 days when conditions of rapid crop growth occur together with climatological conditions that favour the disease. Precede, or follow, the VALIS M sprays with other registered fungicides of a different chemical group appropriate for the diseases as recommended. Repeat application every days up to, and not later than, beginning of January. Repeat application every days up to, and not later than pea berry stage (BBCH75) to avoid visible residues at harvest. NOTE: 1. High volume (HV) application: Ensuring even coverage, apply to just before the point of run-off. Depending on growth stage, apply l spray mixture per hectare. Refer to the table below. The quantity of product required per hectare should be calculated from the corresponding high volume applications (see above). When using half or a quarter of the high volumes, do not exceed either two (2X) or four times (4X) the HV concentration. Apply in at least 250 l / ha, whilst ensuring even coverage on the vines.
