Harmful when swallowed, inhaled and when absorbed through the skin. May cause damage to the eyes. May cause irritation to the skin and membranes of nose and throat. Store in original container, tightly closed, away from food and feeds. Keep out of the reach of children, uninformed persons and animals. Toxic to fish and very toxic to other aquatic organisms. Re-entry: Do not enter treated area within 1 day after treatment unless wearing protective clothing. In case of poisoning, contact a physician and make this label available. PLANT SAFETY: Under certain weather conditions (particularly low temperatures coupled with slow drying), the material may cause fruit russetting especially on Golden Delicious, Granny Smith and Packham s Triumph. On these cultivars, the material should only be used during the pre-blossom stage, and not immediately before, during and immediately after blossom stage. The two cultivars, Josephine and Commerce, must only be sprayed during pre-blossom stage. Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions the registration holder does not warrant that it will be efficacious under all conditions because the action and effect thereof may be affected by factors such as abnormal climatic and storage conditions, quality of dilution water, incompatibility with other substances not indicated on the label and the occurrence of resistance of the diseases against the remedy concerned as well as by the method, time and accuracy of application. The registration holder furthermore does not accept responsibility for damage to crops, vegetation, the environment or harm to man or animal or for lack of performance of the remedy concerned due to failure of the user to follow the label instructions or to the occurrence of conditions which could not have been foreseen in terms of the registration. 3 PRECAUTIONS: Do not inhale fumes and/or spray mist. Avoid skin and eye contact. Wear protective clothing, face shield, rubber gloves and rubber boots when mixing and spraying the spray mixture. Wash with soap and water after use and accidental skin contact. Wash contaminated clothing after use. Do not eat, drink or smoke while mixing or applying the product or before washing hands and face and changing clothing. Avoid drift of spray onto adjacent orchards, other crops, grazing, rivers, dams and areas not under treatment. Clean application equipment after use. Dispose of wash water where it will not contaminate crops, grazing, rivers, dams and boreholes. Triple rinse empty containers in the following manner: Invert the empty container over the spray or mixing tank and allow to drain for at least 30 seconds after the flow has slowed down to a drip. Thereafter, rinse the container three times with a volume of water equal to a minimum of 10 % of that of the container. Add the rinsings to the contents of the spray tank before destroying the container in the described manner. Destroy the empty container by perforation and flattening and dispose of it in a safe manner and according to local regulations. Never re-use the empty container for any other purpose. Prevent contamination of food, feeds, drinking water and eating utensils. SYMPTOMS OF HUMAN POISONING: Respiration difficulty may be experienced after inhaling the product. Inflammation of the eye is characterized by redness, watering and itching. FIRST AID TREATMENT: Eyes: Flush eyes with clean, flowing water for at least 20 minutes, occasionally lifting upper and lower lids, until no evidence of chemicals remains. If irritation occurs and persists, obtain medical attention. Skin: Remove contaminated clothing and rinse contaminated body area thoroughly with plenty of soap and cold water, until no evidence of chemical remains. Do not rub skin. Obtain medical attention if irritation occurs and persists. Inhalation: Remove patient to a well ventilated area away from source of poisoning. Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. If the patient is conscious, give one to two glasses of water to drink. Get medical attention immediately. NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: There is no known specific antidote. Treat supportively and symptomatically. Call medical doctor or the Poison control centre immediately if large quantities are ingested. RESISTANCE WARNING: SYLLIT is a group code M7 fungicide. Any fungus population may contain individuals naturally resistant to SYLLIT and other group code M7 fungicides. The resistant individuals can eventually dominate the fungus population if these fungicides are used repeatedly. These resistant fungi may not be controlled by SYLLIT or any other group code M7 fungicide. To delay fungicide resistance: Avoid exclusive repeated use of fungicides from the same fungicide group code. Alternate or tank mix with products from different fungicide group codes, SYLLIT/April2013 3

4 For tank mixing or alternation with products in fungicide group code M, refer to applicable individual product labels, Integrate other control methods (chemical, cultural, biological) into disease control programmes. For specific information on resistance management contact the registration holder of this product. ANTI-RESISTANCE STRATEGY: SYLLIT can be used at any of the stages specified below. However, we do not recommend that this product should be used more than 3 times per season. It should be used in a block application. On apples and pears, it is recommended to apply SYLLIT in the pre-blossom stage and followed by fungicides from different chemical groups. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Use only as directed. Compatibility: SYLLIT is not compatible with lime, chlorobenzilate, oils, azinphos-methyl and diazinon. Combinations with emulsifiable concentrates should be tested before use. Rain Fastness: Once the fungicide suspension has dried after application on leaves, fruit etc., it has reasonable rain fastness. After exposure to precipitation of 80 mm and more, a significant reduction in efficacy can be expected. Re-spraying may be necessary. Extend intervals to 14 days, 2 weeks after full bloom. Stop application towards beginning of December but continue spraying in cases of incomplete scab control and prolonged wet weather. After dry winter, commence application at green-tip and repeat at intervals of 10 to 14 days. After wet winter, commence application at 75% petal drop and repeat at intervals of 10 to 14 days. Stop applications towards beginning of December but continue sparing in cases of incomplete leaf spot control and prolonged wet weather. Use shorter interval under high disease pressure.
