DO NOT USE MANCOZEB WP ON TOBACCO SEEDLINGS. If the chemical is allowed to get alternatively moist and then warmed up, it may generate flammable vapors and should therefore be kept away from sparks and open flames. May cause irritation of the skin, eyes and air passages. Keep container well closed when not in use. Keep out of reach of children and animals. Store in a cool, dry place away from food and feeds. Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, the registration holder does not warrant that it will be efficacious under all conditions because the action and effect thereof may be affected by factors such as abnormal soil, climatic and storage conditions; quality of dilution water, compatibility with other substances not indicated on the label and the occurrence of resistance of the pathogen against the remedy concerned, as well as by the method, time and accuracy of application. The registration holder furthermore does not accept responsibility for damage to crops, vegetation, the environment, or harm to man or animal or for lack of performance of the remedy concerned due to failure of the user to follow the label instructions or to the occurrence of conditions which could not have been foreseen in terms of the registration. Consult the supplier in the event of any uncertainty. PRECAUTIONS: Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and clothes, as well as inhalation of dust and spray mist. In case of skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water. Wash contaminated clothing. In the case of contact with eyes, rinse eyes with copious amounts of clean cool water and get medical attention if necessary. Prevent contamination of food, feed, drinking water and eating utensils. Containers and packages must be completely emptied before being disposed of. Shake out thoroughly into the mixing or spray tank before destroying the empty container. Destroy empty container by perforation and flattening and never use for any other purpose. Prevent contamination of other crops, grazing, rivers and dams. MANCOZEBWP/A.09JUNE

3 DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Use only as indicated. COMPATIBILITY: MANCOZEB WP is compatible with most fungicides and insecticides, but should not be used with alkaline products e.g. Lime sulphur and Bordeaux mixtures. Do not use MANCOZEB WP together with Calcium Arsenate or Urea on citrus. MIXING INSTRUCTIONS: Mix recommended quantity with a little water to form a thick cream. Add to bulk of water and stir well. When used with emulsifiable concentrates, it is essential that the MANCOZEB WP be properly creamed in a little water before adding to the spray tank. The tank should then be topped up with water and the contents well agitated before the emulsifiable concentrate is added. APPLICATION DIRECTIONS: Note: Application of MANCOZEB WP should be made before overhead irrigation. APPLICATION RATES: CROP AND DISEASE DOSAGE g / 10l water REMARKS POTATOES:Early and Late Blight 30g In all cases commence spraying as soon as the plants are about 15 cm high, or when disease threatens and repeat with 7 to 10 day intervals or after rain. Fusarium, Dry rot and Common Scab TOMATOES:Early and Late Blight and Septoria Leaf Spot GROUNDNUTS: Cercospora and Leaf Spot 30g Dryland: 40g For seed potatoes only.dip the whole or cut potato tubers in mixture. Store treated tubers in disease-free containers under cool temperatures and high humidity conditions. Change the dipping solution frequently especially if the potatoes have a film of soil. NOTE: MANCOZEB WP can also be used on seedling tomatoes. Ensure thorough coverage of plants. Commence spraying at the very first signs of disease appearing at the base of the plant and apply 5 sprays at 14 day intervals. Ensure thorough coverage of plants. Irrigated lands:30g Commence spraying at the very first signs of disease appearing at the base of the plant and apply 5 sprays at 14 day intervals. MANGOES: Anthracnose Apply first spray when panicles appear but before flowers open. Apply second spray at fruit set and thereafter repeat at 14 to 21 day intervals. BANANAS: Sigatoka 250g plus 400 to 500ml First spray towards the end of November and Disease light/medium mineral oil. repeat every 26 days until after rainy season. CITRUS: Black Spot and a) Melanose b) 20 g/10l water in the first two sprays, then /10l water plus 60 ml light/medium mineral oil in sub-sequent 2 or 3 sprays. When normal rainfall occurs during July to September, spray during the third week of October and repeat 3 times at 25 day intervals. OR When rainfall is above normal in July to September, apply after full petal drop and repeat 4 times with 25 day intervals. Citrus Rust Mite 7,5g Apply in Spring. Repeat at 10 to 14 day intervals as necessary. 1) Autumn: Just after harvest. 2) Autumn: 75% leaf drop. 3) Spring: Copper spray at bud movement. 4) Spring: 80% petal fall. 5) & 6) Two further applications at 14 day intervals if necessary. For plums commence spraying from mid-december and apply two sprays at 10 day intervals. APRICOTS AND PEACHES: Freckle Winter Rainfall Region: Apply at 75 to 100% petal drop and repeat 14 days later. In wet seasons repeat application monthly on late cultivars. Summer Rainfall Region: First application 3 weeks after petal drop and again 14 days later. In wet seasons repeat application monthly on late cultivars. NOTE: No more than six applications should be applied during the period that fruit is on the tree. GUAVAS:Lump Disease and Blossom-End Rot YOUNGBERRIES AND BOYSENBERRIES: and Antracnose CUCURBITS:Anthracnose and BEANS: Anthracnose and Rust Full cover application in the early stages until fruit begins to swell. Apply at 30 day intervals to protect against lumpy disease. Full cover application 14 days before harvesting when very wet weather is experienced for protection against blossom-end rot. 100 to 400g Commence spraying at the first signs of disease For Anthracnose commence spraying when first flowers appear. OLIVES: Anthracnose CRUCIFERAE: ORNAMENTALS:, Anthracnose and Rusts APPLES AND PEARS: Scab and Septoria Leaf Spot First application in Autumn before discolouration of fruit begins. Repeat 2 to 3 times at monthly intervals. 100 to 400g Commence spraying at 4 to 6 leaf stage or when disease is noted and repeat at 7 to 10 day intervals. Add a wetter/spreader to the mixture. Treat seedbeds at 3 to 5 day intervals. Dosage depends on plant density and size. Use enough water to ensure thorough wetting. 15 to 20 g/10l water and 2,5ml AGROWETT (Reg. No. L3318) spreader/sticker per 10l spray mixture or 1 ml per 5l Apply at first signs of disease and repeat every 7 to 10 days. Dosage depends on severity of disease. Make sure that the plants are thoroughly wetted. May be applied as both pre- and post-blossom sprays. Pre-blossom: Apply 3 times, with the first application when the trees reach green-tip stage and the last just prior to blossoming. QUINCE: Black Spot GRAPE VINES: (Plasmopara viticola) 50g Post-blossom: Apply immediately after blossoming and repeat 4 to 6 times with 7 to 14 day intervals. 12,5g First application at green-tip stage. Repeat 6 to 10 days later. From 75% petal drop spray at 10 to 14 day intervals. Pre-Blossom: Apply first spray when young shoots have reached a length of 10 cm. Further sprays depending upon weather conditions should be applied at 7 to 10 day intervals. Blossom to 80% calyx fall: 20 g Post-blossom: 20 g Application necessary only if the blossoming period is longer than 14 days. Apply 2 more applications at 7 to 14 days intervals depending on weather. Dead arm disease (Phomopsis viticola) PAPAYA: Black Speckle 20 g Apply the first treatment when the shoots reach a length of 0,5 to 1cm.
