PRODUCT INFORMATION Mlx NG: When using TRIPZIN ZC herbiide, make sure ffe sprayer is ompletely lean, free of rust or orrosion whih ours from winter storage. Examine strainers and sreens to be sure the sprayer is lean from previously used pestiides. Keep any tank mix ontaining TBIPZIN ZC herbiide agitated and spray out immediately. Do not allow tank mixes t0 sland for prolonged periods of time. The proper mixing proedure for TRIPZIN ZC herbiide alone or in tank mix ombinat ons with other herbiides is: 1. Flll ihe spray tank 1l4to 113 full with lean water. 2, Add labeled rate of TRIPZIN ZC herbiide while reirulating and with agitator running. 3. Follow the kiple rinse proedure desriþed under T0RAGE AND DIP0AL to insure that all produt is removed from the ontainer. 4. M x thoroughly and add lean water to fill spray tank to desired level. 5. Add the other herbiide to tank last and agitate thoroughly. 6. Continue agitation during appliation and until sprayer tank is empty. 2

3 APPLICATION OF TRIPZIN ZG HERBICIDE IN FLUID FERTILIZER TRIPZIN ZC herbiide may be applied in fluid fertilizer solutions to soybeans by following the appropriate mixing proedures and ompatibility hek. When using tank mix 0mbinations, be sure all omponents are ompatible. prayable fluid fertilizer should NOT be used as a arrier after rop emergene unless the typial fertilizer burn symptoms on the rop are aeptable. Due to variabllity of fertilizers, make a ompatibility hek of TRIPZIN ZC herbiide and tank mix omb nations whih inlude TRIPZIN ZC herbiide for eah bath of fluid fertilizers. Compatib l ty Chek: 1. Pre-mix 2 teaspoonfuls 0f TRIPZIN ZC herbiide with I teaspoonfuls of water (1:4 ratio) in a quart jar by adding the water first followed with TRIPZIN ZC herbiide. Mix thoroughly. lf a seond herbiide is to be used, double the amount 0f water (1:8 ratio) and add the seond herbiide after mixing TBIPZIN ZC herbiide first. 2. Then pour 1 p nt of fluid fertilizer into the quart jar and shake well. 3. Allow to stand for 5 minutes. THI COMPATIBILIW CHECK HOUTD ONIY BE UED WHEN MIXING WTH FTUID FERTILIZEB, lnterpretat on of Results: lf the solution in the jar appears to be uniform, without signs of agglomeration, or without a separation of an oily film on top of the fertilizer, the mixture may be used. lf n0t, repeat lhe ompatibility hek using twie the amount of water or add a ompatibility agent t0 the water. lf separation ours, but the mixture an be re-suspended by shaking, then appliation is possible with good agitation in the spray tank. Tank Mixing Guidelines: 1. Add the required amount 0f water and ompatibility agent ( f required) to the tank. tart agitation system while add ng TRIPZIN ZG herbiide and follow by adding the fluid fertilizer and agitate. 2. lf a seond herbiide is t0 þe used, follow as above in 1, but use twie the amount of water, tart agltation and add TRIPZIN ZC herbi de and follow by adding the seond herbiide, and then ont nue filling the tank with fluid fedilizer. 3. Maintain ontinuous agitation t0 assure uniform spray mixture until the tank is emptied. COMMERGIAL IMPREGNATION AND APPLIGATION OF TBIPZIN ZC HERBICIDE ON DRY BULK FERTILIZER Dry bulk fertilizer may be impregnated or oated with TRIPZIN ZC herbiide for appliation to alfalfa and soybeans. All reommendations, aulions, and speial preautions on this label must be followed along with state regulati0ns relating to dry bulk fertilizer blending, impregnating and labeling. lmpregnation: To impregnate, use a system onsisting of a belt, onveyor, 0r losed drum whih is used for dry bulk fertilizer blending. Any ommonly used fertilizer an be impregnated w th TRIPZIN ZC herþiide exept ammonium nitrate, polassium nitrate, or sodium nitrate. Do not use on powdered limes{one. Apply using a minimum of 200 lbs dry bulk fertilizer per are and up to a maximum of 450 lbs per are. To impregnate or oat dry bulk fedilizer, mix TRIPZIN ZC herbiide with suffiient water t0 form a sprayable slurry. The delivery nozzles must be direted to deliver a fine spray toward the fertilizer for thorough overage while avoiding spray ontat with mixing equipment. Uniform impregnation of TRIPZIN ZC herbiide to dry bulk fertilizer will vary and if the absorptivity is not adequate, an adsorptive powder may be added to produe a dry, free-flowing mixture. Miro-Cel E (Johns-Manville Produt Corporation) is the reommended absorbent powder. When another herbiide is used with TRIPZIN ZC herbiide, mix and impregnate immediately. Apply immediately after impregnation unless exper ene has shown that impregnated fedilizer an be stored w thout be0ming lumpy and diffiult to spread. Rates: elet the rate of TRIPZIN ZC herbiide per are from the appropriate seti0n 0f this label and refer to the formula below t0 determ ne the amount of TBIPZIN ZC herbiide whih is to be impregnated on a ton of dry bulk fertilizer based on the amount of fertilizer whih will be distributed on one are. Pints TRIPZIN ZC herbiide Pints TRIPZIN ZC herbiide PerAre PerAre Ton of Fertilizer APPLICATI0N: Uniform appliation is essential for satisfatory weed ontrol. Aurate alibration of fertilizer appliat 0n equipment is essential for uniform distribution to the soil surfae. For best results apply 112 the speified rate and overlap 50 perent, or double apply by splitting the middles to obtain the best distribution paüern. lf feñilizer materials are exess vely dusty, use diesel oil or other suitable additive to redue dust prior to impregnation as dusty fertilizer will result in p00r distribut 0n during appliation. Crop injury and/or poor weed ontrol may our where the impregnated fed lizer is not uniformly applied. INCORP0RATI0N AND COMBINATI0N UE; lt is the pestiide user's responsibility to ensure that all produts are registered for the intended use. Read and follow the appliable restritions, l mitati0ns, and direti0ns for use on all produt labels involved in tank mixing. Users must follow the most restritive diretions for use and preautionary slatements of eah produt in the tank mixture. 0lL TEXTURE: As used on this label, "Goa se soils" are loamy sand or sandy loam soils. "Medium soils" are loam, silt loam, silt, sandy lay, or sandy lay loam. "Fine soils" are silty lay, silty lay loam, lay, or lay loam. ilty lay loam soils are transitional soils and may be lassified as medium textured soils in some regions of the U.. UE RETRICTION Apply this produt only as speified on lhis label. Do not allow sprays to drift on t0 adjaent desirable plants. Do not allow spray to drift from the appliation site and ontat people, strutures people oupy at any time and the assoiated propefi, parks and rereation areas, nontarget rops, aquati and wetland areas, woodlands, pastures, rangelands, or animals. Oþserve the most restritive autions and limitations on labeling of all produts used in mixtures. For all uses: Low-pressure and high volume hand-wand equipment is prohibited. Alfalfa Asparagus Corn, field Fallow Garbanzo beans (Chikpeas) CHEMIGAT ON Apply TRIPZIN ZC herbiide through sprinkler irrigation equipment to potatoes and soybeans as direted on this label. Refer to the rop setions 0f this label for rates, weeds ontrolled or suppressed, restritions, and speial preautions. Apply this produt only through sprinkler (inluding enter pivot, lateral move, or solid set) irrigation systems. Do not apply this produt through any other type of irrigation system. Crop injury, lak of effetiveness, or illegal pesliide residues in the rop an result Jrom non-uniform distribution 0f treated water. x 2000 lbs Fertilizer UE ITE Lentils and Peas Potatoes oybeans ugarane Tomato Galibration: (Center Pivot and elf-propelled Lateral Move ystems): prinkler irrigation systems must be aurately alibrated for appliation of ïrlpzln ZC herbiide. Greater auray in alibration (and distribution) will be ahieved by injeting a larger volume of a more dilute mixture of produt 3

4 and water per hour. Follow the steps below to alibrate enler pivot and lateral move systems: 1. Determine number of minules required to make one 0mplete revolution while apply ng 114lo 314 inh of water per are. 2. With the system at operating pressure determine the exat number of minutes required t0 injet one gallon of water. 3. Divide the t me required for one revolution (step 1) by the time required to injet one gallon (step 2). This gives total gallons of produt-water mixlure to be added to nurse tank. 4. Add required amount of water t0 nurse tank and start the agitation system. Then add sutfiienl TRIPZIN ZC herbiide at lhe labeled rate (ee BR0AD- CAT APPIICATI0N) to the nurse tank. EXAMPLE: lf 20 hours (1200 minutes) were required for one revolution and if 2 minutes were required to injet one gallon, then a total of 600 gallons of produt-water mixture are required (1200 ; 2 = 600); t0 treat 135 ares at 1 pinvare, 135 pints (16 gallons and 7 pints) of TRIPZIN ZC herbiide are required. lf you have questions about alibration, ontat tate Extension ervie peialists, equipment manufaturers 0r other experts. Restrit ons and Preautions for Chemigation:. Do not onnet any irrigation system (inluding greenhouse systems) used for pestiide appliation t0 a publi water system unless the pestiide labelpresr bed safety devies for publi water systems are in plae.. A person knowledgeable of the hemigation system and responsible for its operation, or under the supervision of the responsible person, shall shut the system down and make neessary adjustments should the need arise.. The system must ontain a funtional hek valve, vauum relief valve, and low pressure drain appropriately loated on the irrigation pipeline to prevent water soure ontamination from baklow. r The pestiide injeti0n p peline must ontain a funtional, automati, quiklosing hek valve lo prevenl lhe llow of fluid bak toward the injetion pump.. The pestiide injetlon pipeline must also ontain a funtional, normally losed, solenoid-operated valve loated 0n the intake side of the injetion pump and onneted t0 the system interlok t0 prsvent fluid from being withdrawn from the supply tank when the inigation system is either automatially or manually shut down. r The system must ontain funtional interloking ontrols t0 automatially shut off the pestiide injetion pump when the water pump motor stops.. The inigation line or water pump must inlude a funtional pressure swith whih will stop the water pump motor when the water pressure dereases to the point where pestiide distribution is adversely affeted.. ystems must use a metering pump, suh as a positive displaement injetion pump (e.9. diaphragm pump) effetively designed and onstruted 0f materials lhat are ompatible with pestiides and apable of being fitted with a system interlok.. Do not apply when wind speed favors drift beyond the area intended for treatment.. Maintain ontinuous agitation in the injetion nurse tanks during the herbiide appliat 0n, suffiient to keep herbiide in suspens on.. Apply speified dosage in 114 to 314 inh of water (1/4 to 1/2 inh of water on sandy soils) per are as a ontinuous injetion in enter pivot and lateral move systems or in the last 15 t0 30 minutes of set in permanent solid set sprinkler systems. Appliation of more than the quantig of irrigalion water indiated on this label may result in dereased produt performane by remov ng the hemial from the zone effetiveness. Where sprinkler distribution patterns do not overlap suffiiently, unaeptable weed onlrol may result. Where sprinkler distribution patterns overlap exessively, rop injury may result. Allow suffiient time for pestiide t0 be flushed through all lines and all nozzles before turning off irrigation water. T0 insure that lines are flushed and free of remaining pestiide, an indiator dye may be injeted into the lines to mark the end 0fthe appliation period.. Use a minimum 0f 1 part water t0 1 paft herbiide for injetion. The use of a larger volume 0f water will insure greater auray and more uniform distribution. MANAGING OFF.TARGET MOVEMENT Avoiding spray drift at the appliation site is the responsibility 0f the appliator. The interations of many equipment-and-wealher-related fators determine the potential for spray drift. The appliator and the grower are responsible for onsidering all these fators when making deisions. The following drift management requiremenls must be followed t0 avoid offtarget drift movement from aerial appliations to agriultural field rops. These requirements do not apply t0 forestry appliations, publi health uses or to appliations using dry formulations. 1. The distane of the outer most nozzles on the boom must not exeed 3/4 the length of the wingspan or rotor. 2. Nozzles must always point bakward parallel with the air stream and never be pointed downwards more than 45 degrees. 3. Where states have more stringent regulations, they must be observed. 4. The appliator must be famil ar with and take into aount the information overed in lne Aer al Dr ft ßedut ùn Adv sory lnformat ùn. INFoRMATIoN 0N DR0PIET IZE The most effetive way to redue drift potential is to apply large droplets. The best drilt management strategy is to apply the largest droplets that provide sufiiient overage and ontrol. Applying larger droplets redues drift potential, but will not prevent drift if appliations are made improperly, or under unfavorable environmental onditions (see WIND, TEMPEBATURE AND HUMIDITY, and TEMPEBAIURE II.IVER ON). CONTROTTING DBOPLET IZE:. Volume - Use high flow rate nozzles to apply the highest pralial spray volume. Nozzles with higher rates flows produe larger droplets.. Pressure - Do not exeed the nozzle manufaturer's speified prossures. F0r many n0zzle types lower pressure produes larger droplets. When higher flow rates are needed, use higher flow rate nozzles instead of inreasing pressure.. Number of Nozzles - Use the minimum number of nozzles that provide ' uniform overage. Nozzle orientation - orienting nozzles s0 that the spray is released parallel to the airstream produes larger droplets lhan other orientations and is the reommended pratie. ignifiant defletion from horizontal will redue droplet size and inrease drift potential.. Nozzle Type - use a nozzle type that is designed for the intended appliation. With most nozzle types, narrower spray angles produe larger droplets. Consider using low-drift nozzles. olid stream nozzles oriented straight bak produe the largest droplets and the lowest drift. B00M LENGTH: For some use patterns, reduing the effetive boom length to less than 3/4 of the wingspan or rotor length may further redue drift without reduing swath width. APPLICATI0N HEIGHT: Do not apply at a heighl greater than 1 0 feet above the lop of the largest plants unless a greater height is required for airraft safety. Making applialions at the lowest height that is safe redues exposure 0f droplets t0 evaporation and wind. WATH ATJUTMENT: When appliations are made with a rosswind, the swath will be displaed downwind. Therefore, on the up and downward edges ofthe f eld, the appliator must ompensate for this displaement by adjusting the path of the airratt upwind. wath adjustment distane should nrease, with inreas ng drift potential (high wind, smaller drops, et.). WIND: Drift potential is lowest between wind speeds 0f 2 t0 10 mph. However, many fators, inluding droplet size and equipment type determine drift potential at any given speed. Avoid appliation below 2 mph due to variable 4

5 wind diret on and high inversion potential. NOTE: Loal terrain an influene wind patterns. Every appliator must be familiar with loal wind patterns and how they affet spray drift. TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY: When making appliations in low relative humidity, set up equipment to produe larger droplets to ompensate for evaporation. Droplet evaporation is most severe when onditions are both hot and dry. TEMPERATURE INVEBI0N: D0 not apply during a temperature inversion beause drift potential is high. Temperature inversions restrit vertial air mixing, whih auses small suspended droplets to remain in a onentrated loud. This loud an move in unpreditable diretions due t0 the light variable winds ommon during inversions. Temperature inversions are haraterized by inreasing temperatures with altilude and are ommon on nights with limited loud over and light to no wind. They begin t0 form as the sun sets and 0ften ontinue into the morning. Their presene an be indiated by ground fog; however, f fog is not present, inversions an also be identified by the movement of smoke from a ground soure or an airraft smoke generator. moke that layers and moves laterally in a onentrated loud (under low wind onditions) indiates an inversion, while smoke that moves upward and rapidly dissipates indiates good vertial air mixing. EI' ITIVE AREA: Apply TRIPZIN ZC herbiide only when the potenlial for drift t0 adjaent sensitive areas (e.9. residential areas, bodies of water, known habitat for threatened 0r endangered speies, non-target rops) is minimal (e.9. when wind is blowing away from fie sensitive areas). APPLICAT OI'I OF TRIPZIN ZG HERBICIDE WITH HERBICIDE PRAY EOUIPMENT Use a standard low pressure (20 to 40 psi) herbiide b00m sprayer equipped with suitable nozzles and sreens no finer than so-mesh in nozzle and in-line strainers. Agitate ftoroughly before and during appliation wift bypass ag tati0n. GBoUND APPIICATI0N: Apply the speified rate 0f TRIPZIN ZC herbiide in a minimum of 10 to 40 gallons of spray mixture per are broadast. AERIAI APPIICATION: Where permitted, apply speified rate in a minimum of 2 to 10 gallons of spray mixture per are. Do not apply aerially when wind speed is greater than 1 0 mph. For All Appliations of TRIPZIN ZC herbiider prayer must be aurately alibrated before applying TRIPZIN ZC herbiide. Chek sprayer during applè ation t0 be sure it is working properly and delivering a uniform spray pattern. As the volume of spray mixture dereases per are, the importane of aurate alibration and uniform appliation inreases. Avoid over appliation, misappliation, and boom and spray swath overlapping that will inrease spray dosage. (Crop injury may our as a result.) Avoid spray skips and gaps whih allow weeds to grow in untreated soil. Do not apply when weather onditions favor spray drift and/or when sensitive or ool season rops, suh as ole rops, onions, peas, or strawberries are present In adjaent fields or in areas where wheat is growing in oarse textured soils. PRAYER CIEANUPI pray equipment must be thoroughly leaned to remove remaining traes of herbiide that might injure other rops t0 be sprayed. Drain any remaining spray solution of TRIPZIN ZC herbiide from the spray tank and dispose of aording to label disposal instrutions. Rinse the spray tank and ref ll with water, adding a heavy-duty detergent at the rate of one up per 20 gallons 0f water. Reyle this mixture through the equipment for 5 minutes and spray out. Repeat this proedure twie. Fill the spray tank with lean water, reyle for 5 minutes, and spray out. Clean pump and nozzle sreens thoroughly. Wash away any spray mixture from the outside of spray tank, nozzles 0r spray rig. All rinse water must be d sposed of in ompliane with loal, state, and Federal guidelines.
