To normally display the atual temperature in Fahrenheit, press the up or down button until ( F ) is displayed. When finished, push ENTER to store the alibration value in memory. This is the last programming step. To put the pt thermostat bak into user mode, push MENU one again. Note that if the pt thermostat is left in program mode the ontrol setion of the thermostat is not funtional. Therefore it is always a good idea to leave it in user mode when you are finished programming. Push the ENTER button to store this parameter in memory. Push MENU again. The ninth program level message ( C L ) will be displayed followed 9 by the temperature alibration adjustment. The pt's temperature sensor is fatory alibrated. However you may wish to adjust this alibration, partiularly if you are using an external temperature sensor. To do this, simply measure the atual temperature in the room and ompare it to the atual temperature displayed by the pt. If, for example, the pt was reading 2 degrees lower than the atual temperature, set the temperature alibration adjustment to -2. Restoring the standard fatory settings If you wish to restore the standard fatory settings on the pt, then follow these steps: 1) turn off the power to the thermostat. This may be done by unplugging the pt from the sub-base. 2) push and hold down the menu, enter, and up buttons at the same time. 3) turn the power bak on to the pt (or plug it bak into it's sub-base). The thermostat must be at this point, in the program mode if the MENU button was held down for too long. To get bak into user mode, push and hold down the MENU button until you see the display show (C L). Then release the MENU button, and momentarily push the MENU button one again. Adjust the alibration value by pushing the up or down buttons. NEP04/ PAGE 9
