System Design and Plan This panel is designed to meet the general requirement of IS 2189:1999.Basially these system used in residential soiety sensitive area where fire an prevented manual prevention or fire fighting depart/duty pe rsons. 4 GENERAL FEATURES The miroproessor based manual alarm Control and indiation panel is designed to indivisual zoning the fire input and evauted /alertl fire in earliest pratiable moment with the help 24 V hooter output. The panel operates on 220 V AC Mains with 24 V DC Battery as a stand by power, The built in iruit provide onstant voltage harging to maintain the battery apaity. on Operates 220 V AC supply. Stand by battery bakup with Built in harging. Error free panel status in unambiguous olored LED indiation. System on Mains ON battery Low status indiation. Low battery visual warning with Audit able tone. Zone wise fire fault Operating indiation Faility. Zone ON indiation Faility. 24 V hooter Output with silene faility. Manual test faility Rugged CRCA sheet with powder oated finish Modular Constrution Relay Output for assoiate gadgets MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION The enlosure of the panel is onstruted by CRCA Sheet with powder-oated finish and its designed to afford the degree of protetion as per IP54, The 20 mm Knok outs are given for able entry at the top of the abinet. The Panel has a built in battery spae for 2Nos of 12 V, 7 AH Batteries. The front side of the panel onsist of the following 1) Control Swithes 2) LED Indiation 2

5 INSTALLATION A ND COMMISSIONING Installa tion The installation of the Fire detetion and alarm should omply with a)the installa tion of the E letrial engineers (IEE) wiring regulation and standa rds. b)the Indian Standard of fire Detetion and alarm for build ing. )The installa tion able should not be in the area of proxi mity of high voltage able or ind ue eletrial interfere ne. Plae the panel in its outing Position and fix the panel to the wall using the slot of the sre w, Ensure the enlosure and the inner parts of the panel are given suffiient protetion during installation perio d.all external ables are to be entered via the 20 mm performed knokout loated at the top of the pan el. After the installa tion of all ables has been ompleted, lean the inte rior of the enlosure ensu ring all masonry debris and drilling swords are removed. COMMISSIONING Chek all entered wiring is orretly identified and also hek all free from fault ondition by a multi meter. Connet the external wiring into their respetive terminal and ensure the end of line (EOL ) resistor is pla ed at the last devi e of iruit. Prior to the power up of the panel ondut the following preliminary heks a) hek for any exte rnal signs of damage aused during installation b) Cheks all PCBs are seure in its monitoring po sition. ) Chek all able are seure and orretly onnete d. d) Chek all the able termina tion is tight & Seure. e) Connet the batteries ensuring the orret pola rity. All damages / Fault must be retified before proeeding 3

6 INDICATOR AND CONTROLS (uses and normal state) ZONE MONITOR INDICATIONS RMAL: These are the green glowing LED of zone normal ondition in ase any events these LED s goes off. FIRE : These are the Red glowing LED for fire onditioning. These LED are in pair In ase of fire LED s glow. Normally these LED s retain off. OPEN :This is the yellow glowing LED for open onditioning. This LED is in individual with open mark. In ase of zone wire open, ables/ wire or EOL is not onneted this is indiation for respetive fault. These LED s retain off. SHORT : This is the yellow glowing LED for short onditioning. This LED is in individual with short mark. In ase of zone wire short, ables/ wire or EOL is short this is indiation for respetive fault. These LED s retain off. POWER INDICATION 1) SYSTEM ON 2) CHARGING 3) AC FAIL 4) BATTERY LOW 5) FUSE 4

7 CONTROL RESET :- This swith has provided for restarting the system after any event or funtion. SILENCE :- Whenever any signal omes from field s devie, the external buzzer beeping with the information on LED glow of respetive zone. To mute that audio alarm press silene button or in ase of fire the hooter sound an be muted by pressing this button. LAMP TEST:- To hek the LED in healthy position press this swith. All LED will be glow with the buzzer sound. ISOLATE / OFF : This swith is provided for non funtioning of respetive zone.. TEST SWITCH TEST: This swith is provided in individual zone & it is ommon for all test in that zone. It works with the ombination of SHORT/OPEN/FIRE swith. If we press TEST swith & FIRE simultaneously then fire ondition will our in that zone. FIRE: This swith is provided ommon for all zone. It works with the ombination of TEST swith. If we press TEST swith & FIRE simultaneously then fire ondition will our in that zone. OPEN: This swith is provided ommon for all zone. It works with the ombination of TEST swith. If we press TEST swith & OPEN simultaneously then OPEN ondition will our in that zone. SHORT: This swith is provided ommon for all zone. It works with the ombination of TEST swith. If we press TEST swith & SHORT simultaneously then short ondition will our in that zone.

8 TERMINALS/OUTPUT M.C.B.CONNECTOR:- These are the input terminal to onnet the manual all box the panel system. If glass removed or break at any manual all box then system provide provide 24 volt D.C. to respetive hooter & potential free ontat hanges it state. So this panel at for onduting further operation for air handling unit or other assoiated gadgets. Be sure for EOL at appropriate point for right funtion of manual all box. HOOTER:- This onnetor provide power 24volt D.C. for alarming the hooter in ase of break glass of manual all box. these are the individual zone wise ativated along with one ommon hooter. Verify the hooter terminal protet form short iruit beause it an damage the produt. COMMON HOOTER:- This terminals 24 D.C. output is ativated with the any break glass unit. FIRE POTENTIAL FREE CONTACT :- These are relay ontat that hange over its position in ase of fire either it is multi zone or single zone.
