2 This all-natural product line is formulated for different indoor and outdoor planting activities. MYKE products are easy to use and safe for the environment, gardeners, their families and even their pets. Several MYKE products contain a biological growth supplement called mycorrhizae. These products have been approved by the Canadian Food inspection agency and the United States Department of Agriculture. THE FAMILY IS GROWING! This year, Premier Tech Biotechnologies is offering you more products. Watch for the «New!» logo to find out about the latest additions to the MYKE product line!
3 WANTED! To find out wich products contain mycorrhizae, look for this logo! Mycorrhizal fungi have occurred naturally in the soil for 400 million years. They form a close symbiotic relationship with plant roots. However, in most soils that have been disturbed by residential construction, or intensive cropping practices with applications of fertilizers containing pesticides and other chemical products, the mycorrhizae content has considerably diminished, and has become insufficient to significantly enhance plant growth. When mycorrhizal fungi colonize the plant s root system, they create a network that increases the plant s capacity to absorb more water and nutrients such as phosphorus, copper and zinc. This process in turn enhances growth and favours rapid development of roots and plants. Extensive university research has proven that 90% of all plants are colonized by mycorrhizal fungi and that only a few plant species are not receptive to them. However, these exceptions, listed in the following pages, will not be negatively affected if mycorrhizae are used. Without mycorrhizae With mycorrhizae

14 100% natural OMRI TM approved High quality ingredients Balanced dosage Specially blended to meet the plants specific needs 100% compatible with MYKE growth supplements fertilization Fertilization TIPS MYKE fertilizers are natural, well balanced and compatible with all of our mycorrhizal growth supplements (MYCORISE ). However, fertilizers containing high phosphorus levels are less recommended when using mycorrhizae because they may delay the development of the fungus. When using MYKE fertilizers you don t need to worry about the phosphorus level, we ve taken care of that for you. By combining both MYKE fertilizers and growth supplements you will use less chemicals and still get great results! potting Potting TIPS When using MYKE growth supplements (MYCORISE ) only one application is needed while planting or seeding. The product should be placed in the furrow or planting hole as close as possible to the newly growing roots which will be colonized by the fungus in the growth supplement within 4 weeks. As the roots grow, the mycorrhizae will develop along with them.
