1 During the week 24 the German and Dutch plant producers once again invited to their annual 'Flower Trails', where they presented the range of varieties available and the possible novelties, which will be introduced to the market next year. Purchaser from all of Europe took the opportunity to come by - and so did sales consultants from GASA Young Plants A/S. We think the following is worth highlighting: Hilverda Hilverda presented the considerable range of varieties of Dianthus SUNFLOR + KAHORI, Antirrhinum FLORINI as well as Alstroemeria INTICANCHA. The series of Alstroemeria INTICANCHA now consists of these varieties: Red : red White : white Dark Purple : dark lilac Purple : lilac White Pink Blush : bicolor (white with light lilac spots) White Pink Heart : bicolor (white with light red centre) Novelties from HilverdaKooij: INTICANCHA 'Creamy Dark Pink': Bicolor (white flowers with pink an green veins) INTICANCHA 'Sunlight' and 'Sunday' are two new varieties which sre suitable for production in outdoor areas. Adittional, new varieties will be launched for test production in Dianthus Green Dream is a new type for somewhat bigger pots. 3 Florist Novelties from Florist: Already last year Florist launched a new an interesting series of Gerbera, named LANDSCAPE Gerbera. Suitable for planting outdoors on the terrace, in pitchers and bowls. The plants have huge flowers and is free-flowering until late autumn. Landscape Gerbera New colours of Landscape Gerbera were presented this year. The series is grown in glass-houses and suitable for planting in bowls and pitchers on the terrace and patios. Now available in more colours, characteristics of the series: Striking, enormous semidouble flowers. Dümmen Dümmen showed a range of plants of high quality. A number of novelties among them we mention Petunia, Pelargonium and Verbena. Remarkable are especially 3 new colours of Potunia. Potunia is a series, which you can produce in astonishingly good quality in only 5-6 weeks.

5 Pelargonium The variety 'TexMex' with dark foliage is now available in 2 colours, 'Hot Pink' - 'Fire' Both colours were in high demand this spring. Pelargonium 'Tex Mex Fire' The series Verbena Empress now comprises 3 new colours, in total 15 colours are now available. The all have big flowers and are suitable for both 11 cm pots and hanging baskets. 'Salmon Pink' 'Peach' 'Lavender Blue' are 3 colours that will certainly be in high demand! 6 Sakata Sakata showed a range of pot plants for planting outdoors and we believe Zinnia 'Profusion' is especially remarkable. A new yellow variety completes the series of warm shades.
