This means we won t hand your new home over to you until it has passed all three key building stage inspections conducted by an independent group of building consultants. 1. LOCK UP STAGE Slab finish. The frame straight, plumb and level. Other key aspects such as the shower recess frame. 2. FIXING STAGE All external finishes including brickwork, weatherboards (if used), roof tiling, doors and windows. All internal carpentry including doors, windows, architraves and skirting. Plaster finish to walls, ceilings, kitchens and bathrooms. 3. PRACTICAL COMPLETION STAGE Paint finish. Roofing and drainage. Floor coverings. Paving and landscaping. Tiling to floors and walls.
