2 Regional Conference and Job Fair Chandigarh Sarthak Educational Trust organized Regional conference on CSR at Chandigarh. The conference was intended to discuss and deliberate action areas and best practices for corporate, professionals, administrators, & industry representatives to take the initiative of equal opportunity workplace forward. The grace of the event was enhanced by the presence of Sh. Devender Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, and various officials from corporates, Government bodies and Ngo's. Regional Conference followed by Job fair- Sashaktikaran, inaugurated by Minister, Sh Krishan Kumar Bedi along with Principal Secretary, Govt of Haryana, Sh Anil Kumar. Leading employers of retail, IT and hospitality like Hotel ICON,Hometell, KFC, Sarovar, Competent, SBI Insurance participated to provide employment opportunities to PwD's. Heartfelt thanks to Sarthak Advisory board members Ms Guneet Sethi and Mr Vivek Trivedi for moderating the conference.

3 Chief Minister visit to Sarthak Gurugram center Sh. Manohar Lal Khattar - Chief Minister of Haryana visited Sarthak skill-building center Gurugram, hartron Campus to interact with sarthak alumni's and motivate the current batch divyangjans with his speech. The concern of visit was to understand the journey of a differently abled candidate and to ponder upon the available prospects for building an inclusive workplace for person with disabilities. The inauguration event was also graced by the presence of Sarthak national advisory Board member Sh. Krishan Kalra, Dr. Sudhir Gupta, Sh Sandeep Bhargava, Dr. Jitender Aggarwal and Dr. Suman Aggarwal.

4 National Abilympics Association of India National Abilympics Association of India (NAAI) and Sarthak Educational Trust,are organizing Regional and National Abilympics in India, with the support of Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (World Skills India), All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), and The Hans Foundation under three major categories of ICT, Food and Art and ten sub categories (Data Processing (Basic & Advanced); Word Processing/English Text Processing; Creating Web Pages; Poster Designing; Computer Programming; Photography (Studio/Outdoor), Crafts (Embroidery; Waste Reuse and Painting (Colors)) and Food (Restaurant Service). The regional and national events are directed towards screening the best talent in vocational skill fields among Persons with Disabilities and to represent India in International Abilympics in China. The regional events will be conducted in four zones,west (Pune,May 25 & 26), East (Kolkatta,June 1 & 2), South (Hyderabad,June 15 &16) and North (Delhi,June 22 & 23) followed by National event in Greater Noida (July, 15 to 18) In each location,naai events will be followed by Regional Conference and career drive for persons with disabilities.

6 Turning dreams into realities When I came to know about Sarthak I thought it was like other training centre who only provide training, but when I saw other candidates has been placed by them in different sectors, then I joined training and really got a good job, earning good salary INR now I am really happy and thankful to Sarthak. -Babul,OH Trainee,Bhopal Babul, a name among many, struggling to acquire a good job to repay his loan taken for his education. A young, energetic and optimistic trainee of Bhopal center had completed his graduation in engineering. He was clearly noticing the fear of unemployment in the eyes of his parents with each passing day. But he didn t lose hope and kept exploring opportunities to excel. His continuous search for a decent job leads him to doors of Sarthak in Bhopal. After understanding the pedagogy of sarthak he registered himself and start undertaking sessions to enhance his skill set. Soon, after successful completion of his course, he has placed in Teleperformance Indore, as a Technical support Executive. Your mind is a powerful thing when you fill it with positive thoughts, your life will start to change
