2 The Kreuzviertel is an area of Dormund to the west of the city centre. There was a building boom here from Many houses here constructed in the architectural styles fashionable at that time. The foundation stone of the Kreuzkirche, which lends its name to the area, was laid in 1914 the church was dedicated on 5 November By the outbreak of the First World War, construction of this part of town was largely completed around people lived here.
