MEP Type 2 Memo is required in the stormwater management plan for private parcel developments that impact the PROW. Please refer to Appendix B of the DOEE Stormwater Management Guidebook. Per the Sustainable DC Plan, DDOT is tasked with reducing stormwater runoff in public space and increasing pervious areas. As the patio does not serve a required pedestrian use, please consider the use of permeable paving. It is understood that the site lacks a storm sewer line, however, permeable paving is shown to be utilized in the drive-thru. Please address this concern through evaluation of possible permeable patio paving per the MEP Type 2 process. The plans have been revised to show the total area of disturbance as 12,333 SF, and the public space area of disturbance as 2,889 SF. Since the public space disturbed area is less than 5,000 SF, a Stormwater Management Plan is not required for review. The cafe is now proposed with permeable pavers. See Sheet C-2.0. However, OP appreciates the additional planter space proposed on either side of each as a means to mitigate potential conflicts between pedestrians The sidewalk café no longer requires a step for the change of and motor vehicle entering and exiting the facility. - Please provide grade. A landscape buffer has been added surrounding the additional clarification on the platform to be constructed for the cafe sidewalk café where the difference in grade is made up.
