Dec 15- Board meeting 6:30pm open to all members VFW Starr Ave. Eau Claire January 24, Chapter Awards Banquet at the Fill Inn Station, Chippewa Falls General Meetings Our winter general meetings are held at The Fill Inn Station 104 W. Columbia St, in Chippewa Falls. We start with a short meeting at 7:00 and then have a speaker. There is a raffle table drawing before the speaker starts. The meetings are usually done by 9:30. The Fill Inn Station has a good deal on pizza till 6:00 and a lot of members are there early to eat first. These meetings are free and open to the public, invite your friends along to hear the seminars. 38 th Annual Tournament There will be a Wrap-UP meeting Nov 10 at 6:30pm at the Fill Inn Station. Current committee members and any who would like to provide ideas to improve for the 39 th tournament are urged to attend. Lunker of the Month August Lunker goes to Don Maves for a caught 8/75 on Eagle Lake, Ontario. Unofficial Septembert Lunker is a released by Tim Hillary during the tournament 50 Club We try to recognize members who break the 50 mark in the Follow Up. Please provide me with a picture of your 50 + fish so it can be in the Follow Up. Wednesday Night Fishing League Jason Smith had the longest release of 45.5 during the Wednesday Night League

It will be held August on Leech Lake MN. Headquarters will be Horseshoe Bay Lodge. More info at November 3 rd meeting. Board Nominations Do you want more say in your club? 4 Fall Meltdown Was held on a windy Lake Holcombe Saturday October 25. It was won by Rick Mechelke and Kirby Spletter with a 38 fish. Another 30 muskie was caught by Don Maves nephew Rusty. Paul Gottwald caught a 28 walleye on a muskie sucker. Other anglers were Jason Smith, Casey Johnson, Jim Bunch, Dave Jann, Alex Swanson Don Maves, Scott Jerrie, Chuck and Cortland Spletter. Merchandise Don has some Throw Back apparel with our old silk-screen logo. He will have chapter merchandise available at the General Meetings. Contact him if you would like to order any custom items. 5 Chapter Youth Program Our chapter has 20 fishing rods suitable for grade school age and up. These were purchased with a grant from the Hugh Becker Fund last year.
