3 G RECHARGE STATIONS Texa Konfort 707R R1234YF The KONFORT 707R is TEXA s latest recharge and maintenance station for vehicle air conditioning systems. It is designed for maximum simplicity and effectiveness in servicing systems filled with the new R1234YF refrigerant, mandatory within the European Community since January 2011 and now increasingly common. Though basic and easy to use, the KONFORT 707R recharge station boasts extremely advanced design features. 4 TEXA Refrigerant identifier kit Protect your R1234YF air conditioning station. Must be ordered in conjunction with an AC Service Station. For fitment to Konfort 707R, 760R or 780R service stations only. TEXA is the only European company that has designed and manufactured a refrigerant identification system for use with its air conditioning recharge stations. This system was developed using only the most compact, accurate and reliable technology and three new international patents were registered in the process, (in addition to the eight already covering TEXA recharge service stations). Special care was taken to ensure that refrigerant test results cannot be influenced by the surrounding environment e.g. by the airborne hydrocarbon vapours Part No. UKA6090 and exhaust gases so often present in a workshop environment. Development took over a year, with special care taken over the algorithms that identify the type of refrigerant: R134A or R1234YF. As a result, this TEXA system not only correctly identifies these two refrigerants, but checks their purity too. The entire operation takes approximately one minute. If the refrigerant is found to be unsuitable or contaminated, the station warns the operator and prevents recharging. TEXA Vehicle Flushing Kit Once an AC system has been contaminated or has suffered a failure, the most important part of the AC service to restore the cooling performance to the system is FLUSHING. Without correct flushing procedures, seizing a new or rebuilt compressor is a real possibility. Flushing is performed in order to remove all contamination (dirt & debris) from the system. The smallest particle of contamination can cause restriction and potential failure of the replaced compressor. It takes less than 1/10 of a teaspoon of debris to completely restrict flow of refrigerant and oil in the typical auto AC system. Cleanliness and thorough flushing procedures are very important Flushing is the mechanical operation carried out to clean the air conditioning system components of a vehicle. 5 AIR CONDITIONING RECHARGE STATIONS Bosch ACS511 R134A The ACS 511 is one of the most advanced air conditioning service units for cars and trucks. Like all completely automated Bosch units, it is designed to carry out the maintenance of R-134a-based air conditioning systems with a minimum of manual intervention. The unit automatically controls every phase of maintenance, including oil and refrigerent recovery, recycling and refilling, without needing direct intervention from a technician. However, the manual mode allows the user to control all aspects individually if so desired. As with other Bosch units, it comes equipped with a database to provide the necessary oil and refrigerent quantities for a large range of vehicles. The ACS511 has an 8kg internal refrigerant tank. Bosch ACS611 R134A The ACS 611 shares all the same features as the ACS511 but with a more powerful compressor for faster operation and a larger 20kg internal refrigerant tank. This single unit VRQ (Vocationally Related Qualification), which is approved by DEFRA, is suitable for competent MAC technicians who have completed a previous qualification which can include in-house training. MAC technicians must already have a good understanding of components and the system operation to carry out servicing procedures relating to air conditioning systems.
