1 Pasteurization sub-systems Ecomax Industries offers the following sub-systems that can be integrated into new and existing milk, curd, and cream pasteurizers. Each of these sub-systems and their components can be made available, as per customer requirement. 1. Vertical milk storage tank The vertical milk storage tank is used to store chilled milk and is thermally insulated. Centrifugal pump - Constructed out of stainless steel with a food grade sanitary design, this pump is used to pump the dairy product into a heat exchanger. i. SS piping - Pipelines are used to connect components with each other and are fitted with various valves and control elements that ensure safe, efficient and trouble free flow of process fluid 4. Hot water system Hot water generation system is a compact skid mounted system with a control panel that is designed to heat water instantaneously in a PHE using saturated steam. Safety valve - Used to relieve excess pressure in steam line. Essential to avoid damage due to overpressure conditions in the steam line. Can be set for different steam flow rates and pressures. e. Automatic pumping trap - This is used to prevent water hammer and permit operation even if vacuum is formed as a result of underutilization of heat generation capacity of hot water system. It is a unit that is capable of automatically trapping or pumping depending on line conditions. The unit is operated by steam and is used to eject condensate under all conditions in a heating plant even under generated vacuum. 6. Inoculation vats The tank is used to inoculate the milk with bacilli to produce curd under controlled environment provided in the tank. The tank is fabricated with SS 304 sheets and insulated to provide the optimal environment for the bacteria to grow. 7. Vertical cream storage tank 8.
