Enex and Huurre ECO offer consulting and design services in the area of more energyefficient and environmentallyfriendly refrigeration solutions. Our local organisation will also install and service the CO 2 plants. Enjector is a new energysaving option for CO 2 systems. It consists on a liquid recirculation method based on an ejector, a device recovering expansion work. The energy saving potential, which can be reached all year round, varies from 10 to 15%. Basically it is a pumped circulation system without the complication of a refrigerant pump. The high water temperature makes it possible to store it in a special vessel, so avoiding, as with normal heat pumps, to mix water at different temperatures. It is also possible to maximize operation during night time, taking advantage of lower energy costs.
