The Solaire Sleek Extraction Tower helps clean and filter the air of the salon when spray tanning. This thereby helps to protect the safety and health of both the customers and the staff. HOW IT WORKS: Excess tanning solution in the air is drawn into the three stage filter, designed to reduce mess and ensure that the environment is comfortable for the operator and client. While over-spray settles and most of it will be removed by the lower fans, the additional extraction capacity at the top of the unit keeps the air especially clean in the facial area -- important for your clients maximum comfort and to minimize spray inhalation. The flexible vinyl backing is impervious to moisture and will protect your floors from spray tanning exposure. The upper layer is a deep pile looped synthetic that will allow over-spray to penetrate rather than pool, keeping your clients feet clean. When it s time to clean the mat simply hose it down and the loop construction will quickly release spray tan residue. Filtration Description The particulate (intake) filter is a three stage graduated fibre filter with a high dust holding capacity with filtration to 5 micron particles. NB: Spray particulate sizes vary from 10 to 20 microns. The dual process of filtration and then extraction, vastly reduces and/or eliminates operator exposures to potentially hazardous substances.

Once experienced, the extractor booth can be assembled in less than 5 minute. Installation Procedure: 1. Lay the rubber floor into the desired position. Ensure you have access to power and space around the unit. 2. Using the handle place the base unit in position at the rear of the rubber floor. (Fig. 1) 3. Securely place the fan unit into the grooves and stack on top of the base unit. Once there is no movement repeat with the second fan unit. (Fig. 2) 4. Place the top unit above the two fan units (so there are 3 units above the base). 5. To secure the tower screw the metal rails into the base unit and fans. Loosely screw into place so you are able insert the sides in the next step. Once the sides are in position you can tighten the screws. (Fig. 3 & 4) 6. Insert the aluminium wings between the unit and the rails starting at the top clamping them tightly into position. Repeat this step for both wings. (Fig. 5) 7. At the back of the tower insert the connection cord into the middle fan until and connect to the bottom fan unit (Fig 6). Insert the foot pedal into the base of the tower and insert power cord into base of tower (Fig. 7). Turn power on at the wall and use foot pedal to turn the power on. Fig.1 Fig.2

5 HOW TO use The Solaire Sleek Extraction Tower can be left on by turning on the on switch (continuous use) or can be used intermittently by tapping the foot pedal switch, the unit will start to work, another tap on the pedal switch will stop the machine. Please note: If you don t use the machine for a long period of time please disconnect the power at the wall. FILTER CLEAN OR REPLACEMENT The air management system is used to extract excess spray away from the client by pulling it through the extraction chambers. Excess spray is filtered out of the airflow using 3 stages of filter located within the extraction chamber. You will be required to periodically replace the disposable filter after 100 tans. This is a removable filter located within the removable front panels of the extraction chambers. 1. Take off all the side panel 2. Screw off the 2 bolts on two sides 3. Take off the front cover and take out the inside filter 4. Put the replacement filter in the cabin and then fix the front cover of the chamber. HOW TO MAINTAIN Daily Maintenance At the end of the day when the booth has been used, unplug the booth from electricity before cleaning. Use spray and wipe to clean residue solution off the side wings Prepare a bucket of hot water with a teaspoon of dish washing liquid Dip the scrubber end of a squeegee in the water, squeeze excess water and scrub the wings Using the rubber blade of the squeegee clean the side wings from top to bottom With a clothe wipe off any excess water Use spray and wipe with a damp cloth to wipe down the front black air intake panels (be sure to get between the gaps where the air flows in) Mop the plastic matt (Nylon matts can be taken outside once a week and hosed down and dried). Weekly Maintenance At the end of every week remove the black air intake panels to check on the filter. Keep a spray tan log as the filter will need to be changed after 100 sprays. When changing the filter the front panels, once removed, can be hosed down. Note: do not use ammonia/bleach based products, instead use mild dish washing detergent with hot water to clean your booth.
