1 Hi: the Hiross soluti for running and maintenance ENERGY SAVING All Hi units are available with the freecooling opti which: exploits low external temperatures, thus enabling a csiderable electric energy saving reduces the number of starts and stops of the compressor, with csequent lower overall wear of the unit. EMERGENCY COOLING In the event of a breakdown in the supply of electrical power at 230V, Hiross units can use an emergency power supply with ctinuous voltage at 48V, guaranteeing ventilati and possible cooling with the freecooling system. This avoids the need to install other accessories (for example fans, additial ctrol systems). COMPACTNESS Hi air cditiers are made in a vertical cfigurati with frt air intake and discharge of the treated air at the top. The smallest models occupy a floor area of ly 0.26 m 2. CONTROL AND SUPERVISION Hiross units are equipped with Microface and Hiromatic, a microprocessor designed and made by Hiross, which operates 24 hours a day with maximum precisi, surveying all the parameters and data machine operati, and which may also be integrated in the supervisi systems of telecommunicatis networks.

In fact, in the space normally occupied by e Telecom Rack it is possible to install two Hi Slim units, e as stand-by. The unit has direct freecooling with a modulating damper and expulsi of the warm air from inside. NO VISUAL IMPACT When particular restraints do not allow the installati of unattractive cdensing units the outside of buildings, Hi solves the problem. Thanks to its minimum bulk, it may be installed inside the building, cnecting cnected to the outside by means of simple flexible ducts and making use of the windows or, if these are not available, making ly very small holes. PLUG&PLAY The cditiers in the Hi series are compact enbloc units, completely assembled and tested in the factory. No adjustment of the cooling circuit is required at the time of installati. 6 CONDENSING AND EVAPORATING SECTIONS The air-cooled secti has generous dimensis and the fan speed regulator allows cstant operati even when the outside temperature is low. The evaporati temperature ctrol system allows starting at high temperatures. FREECOOLING The freecooling opti is activated when the difference between the external air temperature and the internal set point is greater than 9 C (or than the pre-set value). An internal damper adjusts its positi, guaranteeing the intake of new air to provide the required cooling duty. The discharged air is expelled through the unit.
