3 Important information Proper use The accsori for the JURA Cool Control are digned and built for domtic use. They are used to wirelsly monor the milk level in the JURA Cool Control stais steel container, which is available separately. Use for any other purpose will be deemed improper. JURA cannot acce any rponsibily for the consequc of improper use. Before using the machine read the instctions for use thoroughly and completely and comply wh the instctions they contain. No warranty service will be offered for damage or defects caused by non-compliance wh the instctions for use. Keep the instctions for use close to the machine and pass them on to the next user. For your safety You must read and comply wh the important safety information in the JURA Cool Control instctions for use. 1 Compatibily The Cool Control Wirels is unfortunately not compatible wh all JURA coffee machin. Ask your dealer or vis 2 Setting up the cover (wh milk level ssor) and receiver Clean the cover wh the milk level ssor thoroughly before first use using a damp cloth and a mild liquid detergt. T Swch on your coffee machine. T Insert the receiver into the service socket of the coffee machine. Important information If you don't know where the service socket of your coffee machine is, ask your dealer or vis T Swch on the Cool Control. T Remove the protective cover on the top of the Cool Control. T Fill the stais steel container of the Cool Control (at least a third) wh milk. T Use the cover to close the stais steel container. (You will find the correct procedure for inserting the metal pipe and the adaer in the JURA Cool Control instctions for use.) T Insert the stais steel container into the Cool Control. Ensure that the cover connection is aligned correctly and gaged. The LEDs in the cover and receiver flash. As soon as both LEDs continuously light up blue, the milk level ssor and the receiver are ready for use. If there is not ough milk in the stais steel container, this is indicated on the display of your coffee machine during preparation. The display text may vary depding on the machine. 3 Cleaning and maintance Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agts or hard objects to clean the machine. This may damage the cover and milk level ssor. The cover wh the milk level ssor is not dishwasher-safe. 7

4 4 Uninstalling the cover and receiver If the cover has not be used for a long period of time, clean the milk level ssor thoroughly wh a damp cloth and a mild liquid detergt before using again. You will find information about cleaning the stais steel container, adaer and metal pipe in the Cool Control instctions for use. UU Both LEDs flash. UUThe connection betwe the cover and receiver is faulty or not tablished. Prs both Ret buttons at the same time (e.g. wh a p). As soon as both LEDs continuously light up blue, the milk level ssor and the receiver are ready for use. Problem persisting? Service required. 4 Uninstalling the cover and receiver If service is required, uninstall the cover and receiver as dcribed in section 4. Take the cover and receiver to your JURA dealer. T Swch off your coffee machine. T Remove the receiver om the service socket of the coffee machine. T Swch off the Cool Control. 5 LED behaviours / troublhooting LEDs in the cover and receiver: Behaviour LED do not light up. LED lights up. LED flash (once per second) Dcriion The cover is not supplied wh electricy. The Cool Control is swched off. The wirels connection betwe the cover and receiver is tablished. Atteming to tablish the wirels connection. Rectifying pottial faults: U U 'Error Milk' is displayed, both LEDs light up. UUThe milk level ssor is defective.
