APRIL 2015 Dan Torongo sends these photos of a Deming 24 diameter, 200 horsepower pump installation inside of a City of Titusville, Florida water treatment plant...through a window. The pump length was 152 and had to be dropped in 3 pieces into a hole that was 90 tall from the pad to ceiling.

2 Challenging Install (continued) Passing the penny test... The installation was succesful and upon startup, Dan said the pump ran so smoothly and quietly that you could set a penny on the edge and it would not move! The pump is a Deming Vertical Turbine Single Stage, Model 24HH-2C, FSD20"X20"X24", with a Fabricated Discharge Head, 1-11/16" Cartridge Type Mechanical Seal, 20" x 1-11/16" Flanged Column Assembly w/ 416 SS Shafting and Bronze Bearing Retainers with Neoprene Rubber Bearings, 416 Stainless Steel Motor Shaft, Scotchkote 134 Column I.D/O.D and all Steel Components, Stainless Steel Fasteners and Shaft Couplings. Design Conditions: ' TDH. Overall Length 152" to the bottom of SS Basket Strainer. The supplied motor was a VSS 200 HP USEM Motor, TEFC, 449 VP Frame, 1180 RPM, NRR. 3 PSI Ships Big Large shipment to China... Radu Paveluc sends photos of 10 Process Systems Vertical Turbine pumps and motors bound for Ford China for use in their coolant filtration systems. These were sold by Great Lakes Pump and Supply, through Filtra Systems.

4 Wagner and Process Systems Teamwork between Ruthman Companies leads to a quick, successful shipment Recently, on a Friday evening, Tony Ross at Process Systems was contacted by the General Manager of Wagner Process, Bill Maupin, in regards to a vertical turbine order opportunity. Bill s requirements and ship date needed in order to service the customer and obtain an order were discussed. The following Monday morning, Tony and General Manager, Radu Paveluc had determined that all the castings were in stock and delivery could be made as requested. This is one key part to Process Systems organization having the materials and castings on the shelf and ready for the customer. The purchase order was received from Wagner on 02/23/15 and drop shipped the pump to the end user on 03/16/15. The pump was designed and engineered to produce 1000 GPM at 90 TDH utilizing a 30HP, 1800RPM motor. Thanks to Wagner Process for keeping the business under the Ruthman Companies umbrella and selling a product that s not typical for your daily business! This is a prime example of great communication and working outside the box for the customers needs. Great job by everyone at Process Systems who helped with this order. It s a team effort in the manufacturing business and everyone plays a significant role to get the job done!

6 Ruthman Companies Welcomes ISI West Tim Triplett shares that ISI West of Longmont, CO was brought on board after the WEFTEC show last year to represent the Ruthman Companies in the municipal markets in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho and Montana. 7 Ruthmann Pumpen Installs in Poland Christoph of Ruthmann Pumpen sends these photos of a Rippert installation of 24 different 7550 vertical DIN pumps used in an e-coat line at a Cargotec plant in Poland. Cargotec is a manufacturer of HIAB truck cranes, Multilift hooklifts, and Moffett truck-mounted forklifts. A clean install in an ultra clean looking plant! JAC IS A CAR PRODUCER IN CHINA.

8 Chillin with GLP Mike Jones sends this photo of a chiller system for a coolant filtration system going into Ford Sharonville. It is equipped with Gusher Horizontal CC Pumps and a Tranter Heat Exchanger. Gusher Contributes... Karen Tomlin sends this clipping from the local newspaper showing Tim Vallandingham as he presents a local 3 year old volunteer with the Gusher plants collection of 1600 pop tabs. The Fundraiser will help to pay for one day at the Ronald McDonald House for a family in need.

9 Passing the Test Exceeding Customer Expectations... Photos here of Gary and Scott Smith hosting members of the Koyo Corporation in Dry Ridge for a witness test of one of the closed column pumps to be used for grinding coolant in their bearing manufacturing coolant process. This Gusher giant performed way beyond customer expectations throughout the testing process, and was exceedingly quiet running.

10 Keeping it Clean in Atlanta The Clean Show, the world's largest exposition of dry cleaning, laundering, and textile care services was held in Atlanta, GA from April 16, 2015 to April 19, This important show featured over 400 exhibiting companies and thousands of cleaners from around the world.
