3 Collection Services 96,000 homes and 3,000 businesses each week one of the 1st in the nation to offer garbage pickup all done by employees carrying big tubs on their heads. Today this service is provided by drivers with a fleet of 128 trucks equipped with the latest technology routing software, GPS, and camera 3

TVs and VCRs Computers, printers and copiers Toner cases Cell phones and handheld games Microwaves and toasters Radios and stereo equipment VHS, DVDs and cassette tapes Hairdryers and other small corded electronic items Holiday lights and rechargeable batteries Fluorescent light tubes and more

22 Appliances The city offers free pick up for white goods and appliances, such as refrigerators or stoves. The appliances are taken to a local metal recycler. Call LexCall at 311 to request service. Paint Paint can be taken to the Habitat for Humanity Store Re-Store on Southland Drive. They mix it and make neutral colors that they sell to the public and use in Habitat for Humanity homes.. Grant-funded collaboration between LFUCG and Habitat for Humanity.
