6 4 Disassembly and Assembly Instructions Important notice: Before replacing any components, make sure to turn OFF the vacuum cleaner. Remove the power plug from the outlet Dust box cover assembly removal 1. Open the dust box cover assembly at an angle of approx. 45. Insert a flat-blade screwdriver between the upper body and the dust box cover assembly and move it in the direction of the arrow mark to remove the dust box cover assembly from its right side Separate the upper and lower body units 1. Remove the five screws fixing the upper body U and lower body U. 2. Remove the screw fixing the upper body U from the rear side. 6

9 * For removing the printed circuit board AU on the CG461, first remove the fast-on terminal for the connecting section for the motor. 5. Lift the motor set section from the lower body U. * CG467,CG465,CG Motor removal 1. Remove the dust box lid assembly. (Refer to paragraph 4.1 on P.6) 2. Remove the upper body from the lower body. (Refer to paragraph 4.2 on P.6) 3. Remove the printed circuit board AU. (Refer to paragraph 4.3 on P.7) 4. Remove the two screws fixing the printed circuit board holder and pull it out from the lower body. * CG461 9

10 6. Remove all components fitted to the motor. a. Remove the motor support rubber (front). b. Remove the motor support rubber (rear). c. Remove the motor support. d. Remove the noise suppressor U. e. Remove all lead wires Cord reel partition unit replacement 1. Increase the gap width between the cord reel and the lower body with a screwdriver. While removing the cord reel shaft from the side of the lower body, lift the cord reel partition unit. * For easy removal, pull out the cord slightly, and then lift the cord reel. 10

11 4.6. Rail base U replacement 1. Remove the screw fixing the rail base U onto the cord reel partition U. 2. Pull up the rotating brush and remove the belt and rotating brush (complete). (Fig.19) 4.7. Spring-loaded cord reel prewinding 1. The cord reel partition U has a spring that pre-winds the cord reel. If the cord is not wound, then press the brake arm, and the cord pre-winding will be loosened. If you wish to apply pre-winding again, then wind the cord three turns in the direction of the arrow mark. * If you wish to release the pre-winding, then make sure to hold the cord plug Separation of the floor nozzle upper from the floor nozzle lower U 1. 12 Turbine complete 1. Pull up the floor nozzle pipe U and remove the turbine complete. (Fig.21) Removal of the floor nozzle brush CU.DU.EU.FU 1. Turn the floor nozzle lower unit over. Insert the tip of a flat-blade screwdriver into one side of the brush, then remove the brush.(fig.22) * For assembly, fit every component onto the floor nozzle lower unit. Then, cover it with the floor nozzle upper unit. 12
