4 How the Mosquito Trap works With the help of six carefully developed and verified techniques the female blood-seeking mosquitoes are attracted to the trap. Once the mosquitoes are close to the trap, they get sucked in by the AMT100 Mosquito Trap s powerful vacuum fan. The trapped mosquitoes are collected in the catch container where they soon dry out and die. Under normal conditions the AMT100 Mosquito Trap will exterminate the mosquito population in an area up to approximately 1500 m². Easy and virtually maintenance free. The AMT 100 Mosquito Trap is powered by either a 220V power outlet or a 12V car cable (12V cable is optional). RapidAction scent lure cartridges are replaced once per month.
