It can be installed quickly and easily thanks to the plug-in terminals in the mounting base. The motion detector is adjusted automatically or via the two buttons on the device. This makes start-up quite simple. The DELTA refle motion detector IP55 is available for two different detection areas: 120 and 290. The 290 version is also available with remote control.

2 Installation with Plug-in Terminals Convenient wiring is possible thanks to installation with plug-in terminals. Installation steps: 1. Installing and wiring the connection bo The first step is to install and wire the connection bo. Afterwards, wiring can be eecuted in a simple manner. 2. Mounting the motion detector The second step is to simply plug the motion detector onto the connection bo. The three connecting pins establish the connection between the motion detector and the connecting wires. 3. Attaching the motion detector The third step is to screw the motion detector onto the connection bo. This ensures protection class IP55. Attaching with a screw makes undesired removal or theft of the motion detector more difficult. One, two, three... that s it! Three steps to install and the motion detector is ready for service. Configuration with two buttons Easy and convenient configuration and start-up of the motion detector via two buttons located behind the lens.

3 Remote Control With the remote control, which is included with the motion detector 290 IR, the following functions are possible. Holiday function/ Presence simulation Light 4 h ON The holiday function is a fied ON/OFF profile which simulates the presence of the inhabitants. The ON/OFF profile is activated for appro. 4 hours with the beginning of dusk. Shuts the motion detection off and switches the light for 4 hours permanently ON. OFF function Light is permanently OFF, motion detection is deactivated. Test function Activation of the test function for 10 minutes (brightness-independent, 1 second ON and 2 seconds OFF). Standard mode By pressing this button, the operating modes of the blue buttons are quit and the formerly set operating mode is activated once again. Save brightness-/ dusk-settings With this function, the already set brightness factor is replaced with the currently detected brightness factor. Brightnessindependent day mode The motion detector is also activated during day time independent from brightness. Set overrun time (start and stop time recording) With this button, the individual overrun time, ranging between 5 seconds to 30 minutes, can be programmed. Overrun time 10 min. Impulse function This function can be chosen when the motion detector is used with individual settings (standard operating mode) or in brightness-independent mode (day mode). The currently set delay time will be replaced. Impulse mode for 1 second ON, 9 seconds OFF. Options for use e.g. for staircase time switches, doorbells. Programming button For the programming of the yellow-button functions it is always necessary to press the programming button. Reset button The reset function can be used while in any operating mode (also in OFF function) and switches the motion detector back to factory settings (7 Lu / ON period 2 min.).

5 Installation There are three different ways to install the motion detector: Wall installation Ceiling installation Inside corner installation and outside corner installation Adjusting and reducing the detection area The detection area can be changed by turning the lens to the left or right + / 30. The detection range can be changed by adjusting the swivel arm. The motion detector has a cover blind that can be used to limit the detection area. It is necessary to cut out the cover blind accordingly to do this. Adjust the detection area by cutting out the cover blind
