This pamphlet is designed to assist you with completing all required logs. By easing the burden of record keeping it is our hope that inspections will be more streamlined. 4 FIRE PROTECTION 46 CFR & NFPA 10 Radio Log & Record of Inspections 46 CFR : The owner, managing operator or qualified servicing facility as applicable shall conduct the following inspections and tests. For portable fire extinguishers, the inspections, maintenance procedures and hydrostatic pressure tests and frequency are required by NFPA 10 Ch. 4. procedures in owner s manuals for the pre engineered fixed fire fighting systems require cylinders to be weighed and recorded every six months.
