7 MA Analog Fire Alarm System The MA Analog Range is a clever addressable fire alarm control system capable of interfacing with advanced brain protocols of leading fire detection systems on the market. Its flexible design makes the MA-1000 one of the most powerful and cost effective analog panels available, with quick response time and easy integration to support a wide range of commercial and industrial applications. The minimalistic design of the MA offers advanced functionality to support complex cause and effect programming for industrial, high-tech and military applications, as well as a wide range of public institutions such as hospitals, airports, universities, and others. 8 MA-1000 Analog Addressable Panel The MA-1000 panel is an intelligent analog addressable fire alarm control panel with a two-loop configuration, with a future option of a four-loop operation. The MA-1000 is suitable for a wide range of commercial and industrial applications, with a large capacity to support complex cause and effect programming and extensive range of user controllable functions. The MA-1000 panel uses spur tolerant soft addressing to minimize installation time and remove the potential for errors associated with manual addressing. It assigns multiple addresses and saves addresses of removed devices for future use without affecting the remaining devices. Offered with the MA-1000 is an analog sub-control extension panel, the MA-1000SUB, with multiple interfacing connections to the main panel. All of the MA fire detection system components operate as part of a fully integrated system with its panel, detectors, interfaces and other ancillaries in full compatibility with each other. The MA product series abide to UL864 9th Edition standards, and are in accordance with current standards of the Russian and Israeli Standards Associations. System Functionality Four row graphic display that provides a simple and comprehensive menu-driven end-user interface: 64-character backlit LC display (4 lines with 16 characters on each line) Holds up to 150 addressable devises per loop including a mixture of call points, detectors, interfaces, beacons and loop sounders. esigned to ensure future expansion: Even after the system has been programmed, the panel can allocate the next available address without altering any of the existing address number allocation. Uses soft addressing during commissioning: Addresses are locked until manually altered to enable simple system additions and deletions without affecting other addresses. Maintains full system integrity in the event of an external short-circuit fault: The panel s short circuit isolators on the devices nearest to each side of the short-circuit open to isolate a fault in the system and drives communication from both ends of the loop to sustain full communication with all system devices. Multiple stages and complex cause and effect programming: The panels are designed with a wide range of user controllable functions with three stages of cause-and-effect programming per output device to meet the needs of a wide range of small to large scale projects. 10 MA-1000SUB Analog Sub Control Extension Panel The MA-1000SUB extension panel is an expansion module featuring four programmable NAC s, three programmable relays, two Class A loops, 150 addressable devices per loop, 6.5 amplifier, AC power supply and battery backup. Multiple MA-1000SUB extensions can be connected to the MA-1000 main panel with a network card, and the module is capable of independent operation in the event of network failure, transforming it into one of the most powerful analog panels on the market. 12 MA-1100 Power Booster The MA-1100 power booster is a 4.5 amp notification power expander compatible with MTech s fire alarm control panels. Up to eight units can be installed on the main panel. Complete with its own AC power, battery charging circuit and backup battery, the MA has four fully programmable NAC s, three completely programmable relays, one fire relay and one alarm trouble relays. It is programmed through the main panel. 14 MA-1050 Remote Annunciator The main control panel has a built-in annunciator with a four line, 64-character backlit LC display with easy to understand system messages and a user-friendly membrane keypad. It additionally supports up to eight remote annunciators with matching control and display layout with two levels of user codes to limit operating system programming to authorized personnel only. The built-in annunciator also has five system status LEs for Alarm, Supervisory, Trouble, Silence and AC power. The Reset and Silence buttons on the keyboard are noticeably larger than the rest. The annunciator enclosure can be surface or flush mounted. Overview The optical sensor operates on low current and has built-in short circuit isolators in each unit. The MA-320 gives the fastest response to slow burning or smoldering fires that give rise to visible smoke particles. The sensor is soft addressed, suitable for most applications, and its advanced LE design offers 360 views. 24 MA-300 Standard Addressable Mounting Base The MA-300 is a standard addressable European base designed for the detector series of the MA analog range. Overview The MA-300 mounting base has special features to ensure proper installation and usage, with positive lock indication signaling that the sensor is fitted correctly and integral sensor shorting link that allows for simple wiring termination when a sensor is removed. The MA-300 base is easily installed, with multiple cable entry points. It is designed with a dedicated earth terminal, and separate terminals for loop in and loop out connections (each terminal can accept up to two 2.5mm cables). Overview The MA-S offers excellent sound output levels while maintaining low current consumption. The high efficiency design of these intelligent addressable wall sounders offer excellent sound output levels despite the low current consumption. The addressable sounder is designed with a choice of different tones and volume levels. It is easy to install (surface mounted) and has built-in short circuit isolators. The addressable MA-SH sounder beacon is easy to install (surface mounted) and maintain. It has built-in short circuit isolators. Overview The MB-240 photo-thermal smoke sensor uses combined photo and thermal signals to respond quickly to fast clean burning and smoldering fires. The sensor s thermal enhancement provides a higher alarm threshold and improves rejection of many common causes of nuisance alarm. The sensor will also raise an alarm at temperatures exceeding 135 F. The detector operates on a low current, and is easy to maintain owing to its drift compensation and removable detector chamber for cleaning. Its advanced LE design offers 360 views.
