6 6 NIKO LIGHTING CUSTOMIZED COMFORT A switch wherever you like We had seen him at granny s: a wireless switch, close at hand on her bedside table. It seemed like the ideal solution for our renovated bathroom. We wanted a design with lots of glass for a widening effect. But the question was: where do you put the switches? We chose to install one central switch. It has six functions. With this switch, we can control six light atmospheres. With one push on the button, we can switch on the light above the breakfast table and above the kitchen worktop. With another button, we switch on the atmospheric lighting in the sitting area.

10 10 NIKO LIGHTING CUSTOMIZED COMFORT Light on, with one move The storeroom. I used to switch the light on and off using my elbows. Not anymore since we placed a motion detector. If I go in to get something, the light switches automatically. After a while, it also automatically switches off. Very clever if you re trying to get in carrying a full laundry basket. 12 12 NIKO LIGHTING CUSTOMIZED COMFORT DELTALIGHT No matter how dark the night is In our home, we spent a lot of time choosing the right lighting. We thought it logic to also pay attention to the garden, because it really is part of our home. It s great to enjoy the garden in the evening. But apart from that, our outdoor lighting is also functional. The driveway lighting, for instance, is automatically switched on as we arrive. This is something our visitors also appreciate. So they don t have to search for the bell in the dark.

15 15 Smart lighting on the shop floor As a manager, I think it s very important that my people can work in a healthy environment. That s why I invested in ergonomic offi ce chairs and modern pc monitors. But I also invested in high-quality lighting. I chose for daylight control, which enables the lighting to automatically be adjusted depending on the level of incoming daylight. 17 17 Get the most out of one room When we were renovating the hotel, our interior designer fi xed our attention to the potential of the meeting room. Thanks to the extension of the possibilities of our lighting, it has become a multifunctional room. Today, it is a pleasant room for fancy receptions, tomorrow it can be a very practical meeting room that can be darkened for projections in no time.
