2 CITY-GUIDE: GOLF COURSE SCHMIDMÜHLEN Besides guiding systems for cities and tourists our model series CITY GUIDE suits perfectly for all other public areas. The Golf- und Landclub e. V. Schmidmühlen therefore provides the best proof. The club s committee with its chairman Harald Thies decided to choose this series in order to remain faithful to the exisiting star guides and to replace bleached out and weathered signs. current star guide Its layout descends from a specialist for golf courses BK GOLDANLAGENDESIGN and was furtherly improved by us matching to the CITY GUIDE system. The lettering was made with UV direct print on aluminum composite panels and was finally protected by a clear lacquer layer. The greenkeeper of the areal took over the installation including the setting of ground sockets. In 2018 the club celebrates its 50th anniversary. 3 THE ALLGÄU ART HOTEL LIVES ACCESSIBILITY Project news With its 56 rooms the hotel in Kempten offers a great ambiance for all holiday guests. Here, it is possible to spend a carefree vacation also for blind and visually impaired or people in wheelchairs. The hotel structure was concepted for this purpose and recently enlarged by the tactile elements. Thanks to the tactile ground system and the tactile maps which have been delivered by our specialist partner PROtatkil, everybody is able to orientate in the building. For the tactile overview plans two sign types were carried out: a panel wall sign and a free-standing desk stand. Both are wheelchairaccessible. The lettering is effected by multi-layer UV direct print with a transparent protective lacquer in conclusion. Together with an architecture office the hotel decided for the types and the raised parts. The layout was made by our graphics department. The company PROtaktil is specialized in the installation of tactile wayfinding systems. 4 Project news express-installation template Rathaus Rastatt pic. 1 HISTORIC MEETS BARRIER-FREE The historic city hall is one of the main attractions in Rastatt. The laying of the foundation stone in 1716 was followed by several attachments and an interior expansion in the 1970s. The company Engelberg Werbeland GmbH in Pforzheim now delivered and installed a tactile ground surface system consisting of 60 metres guiding strips and 13 hazard fields which indicate dangers like stairways or a change of direction. For the installation express templates were used. Particularities: - different substrates: granite plates, wooden floors, glass floors - the building is a listed one. Note: According to DIN it is sufficient to use 3 to 4 guiding strips in relatively calm and clearly structured foyers and courses. 5 STRONG PARTNER FOR THE REGION BHS Corrugated Weiherhammer meets Moedel Large industrial halls require a great signage. That was the main idea for the new hall in which the end installation for the most important machines for the corrugated cardboard production takes place. The inner workings were planned by BHS themselves. In course of the planning for the complete building the shell was executed by the architectural office Furoris-Gruppe in Chemnitz. The decision clearly fell on the model series ORLANDO. Due to set range limits the position of the signs arose along the middle corridor. In order to anchor the indoor stands the covers inteded for the flexible underground power supply in the pre-assembly area of the floor ducts with cast covers were used. The hall columns were used for the opposite sides. The neighboring company Faltenbacher DL was responsible for the installation. The choice of the colours and lettering is based on the corporate identity in connection with the set colours for the new assembly hall. The signage describes the address of the different measure areas as well as for deliveries by internal logistics and for the installation staff but also for the clerks and the construction staff in the technical department. The official opening ceremony takes place on the weekend of 24th September 2017 with an open-door-day. Gerald Erl s statement (TM / project leader) The decisive point which convinced us to cooperate with company Moedel was the large selection of signs from their own production and the professionality. To realize such a large project with a total area of m² countless small parties have to come together like gears and have to be made planable together. 6 go2 ON THE RISE COOPERATION WITH BENQ News Our modell series GO-TO was promoted in 2011 for the first time. What started out with individual productions developed into a standard within the years. Now, in mid-2017 our standard range is being renewed and enlarged. With its new name go2 Digital Signage Digital Wayfinding the digital signage is delimited from the analog signage (e. g.
