9 Important Dates Abstract Submission : June 30, 2009 Submission of the Full Manuscript : June 30, 2009 ICAM 2009 Conference : July 8 ~ 10, 2009 Recommendation for Lecturers They will continue for 20 minutes, following by 10minutes for questions. Oral Presentation Oral Presentation may be presented by one of the authors. Each speaker is only permitted for one presentation. It should continue 12minutes and the following 3 minutes is reserved for questions. Speakers wishing to use a data video projector for their presentation must bring their presentation on a CD or flash memory in power point file. Official Language The official language of the symposium will be English.

10 Guidelines for producing the Abstract and full Paper The abstract or full paper, in English, must be provided by all contributors of keynote speaker, oral presentations and posters. The deadline date for the submission of abstracts or papers is 30 th June It has to be typed and prepared according to the instructions below. Abstract Submission The Abstract template with a brief instruction for the preparation of the abstract can be provided the Microsoft Word (doc) files. All abstracts must be submitted in (pyha0806@pusan.ac.kr). Instruction for the preparation and submission of paper To prepare an abstract, it is convenient to use a template. (Including for attachment file) The Title The title should be carefully chosen to indicate as clearly as possible the subject of the manuscript. The first letter of each word should begin with a capital letter except for articles, conjunctions, and prepositions. The first word after a hyphen should also be capitalized such as "Temperature-Dependent Mobility, The X-Ray Diffraction, and Zr-Based Alloys". Bylines should include all those who have made substantial contributions to the work. The first author should be the major contributor of the work. All authors' names should be written in full. At least one author should be designated with a sign as the corresponding author. Affiliations should include the following information in the order of Institute, Department, City, Zip Code, and Country. Abstract and Keywords Each paper should include a words abstract and five key words for use in indexing. Text All papers should be written in English and SI units should be used throughout. Description headings should be used to divide the paper into its component parts. Abbreviations should be defined the first time they occur in manuscript. Defined abbreviations must then be used in the pre-described form, e.g. 'Absolute temperature (T) is T is'. The mathematical equations should be numbered consecutively throughout the text with algebraic numerals in parentheses such as (1), (2), and (3), etc. without connecting lines after the equations. Illustrations All illustrations should be submitted in a format suitable for reproduction in a single column (85 mm) of a journal page. Double column treatment will be used only when required by the complexity of the materials. Because illustrations may be reduced in final printing, lettering should be large enough to be legible after reduction. Micrographs should always carry micron markers to show magnification. Illustrations should be numbered in sequence, and the captions should be submitted as a separate list. Color printing is available, but the author will be required to pay for the printing cost. References All references to other papers, books, etc. should be given at the end of the paper. They should be indicated in the text by consecutive numbers in solid bracket, e.g., [1] or [1,2] or [1-6], as part of the text. References should contain the authors' names together with their initials, the contracted title of the journal, volume number, first page number, and year, as illustrated below. References to books

11 should contain the publisher's name and location. For collected works (e.g., conference proceedings), the editors' names should always be cited. Reference to unpublished reports should only be made when no alternative published form can be located. 14 <Useful Info> Busan started to be inhabited in the Old Stone Age, 15,000 years ago. It belonged to Geochilsanguk during the Three hans era. Dongnae-gun of Silla during the Three Kingdoms era. Dongnaehyeon during the Goryeo dynasty and Dongnae-bu during the Joseon dynasty. In 1407, Busan was the first port, named Busanpo (rich+mountain+inlet), in Korea, and later in 1469 was renamed Busanpo(cauldron+mountain+inlet), according to Joseonwangjo silok (The Historical Record of the Joseon Dynasty). After the opening of the port to the world market in 1876, Busan continued to develop, so harbor facilities began to be built with the opening of the Seoul-Busan (Gyeongbu) Railroad Line in In 1950 during the Korean war, Busan took charge of all the functions of the nation as the provisional capital. It developed into an international port city and a maritime tourism city both nominally and virtually, after being promoted to the status of a city under the direct control of the government in Now it continues to grow as the hub of the Pacific rim after being enlarged and reorganized into Busan Metropolitan City in 1995.
