23 Lighting Design The drive to sustainability leads many governments and property owners to consider upgrading from conventional lighting systems or applying new generation LED systems in their projects. Humming (from the LED lamps) when dimmed 2- Dimming curve/ Flickering The dimming reaction for LED is not linear but curved. In other words setting dimming levels is not linear reactive. This is the case for many LED lamps. At low levels some LED lamps start to flicker, this varies per lamp! 3- LED driver compatibility Not all drivers/ transformers are compatible, even not own brand!
