SECTION 4 INTRODUCTION The MetroLink serves the St. Louis region, across a bi-state region and numerous municipalities. It is a true community transit system. The proposed ideas to improve the placemaking and user experience of the MetroLink stations should be a community wide effort of the St. Louis region. The short term and long term action items regarding placemaking can be implemented in phases, leveraging public and private funding sources over a 1-5 year timeframe. Such efforts will help to enhance the vitality and security of the system. The following is a summary of implementation action items based on the results of this study.
