2 Pump control For the needs-based control of the circulating pump, when using actuators the power supply to the Regelset flex (phase L) is conveyed via the pump relay of the Nea wiring center (see installation instructions for the Nea wiring center). This means it can be used to realise constant flow temperature regulation. The compact add-on control station is suitable for direct connection to the REHAU 1 inch stainless steel/brass heating circuit distributor. It is pre-assembled and tested. The electronic high efficiency pump conforms to ErP 2013 and It can be retrofitted to create a weather-compensated flow temperature control station by replacing the thermostat head with capillary tube with a separately available 3 point 230 V actuator or a GLT 24 V actuator with 0-10 V adjusting signal. This means that the flow temperature control station can be controlled by an external control unit. Description The controlled feed of heating water at a high temperature (e.g. 70 C) from the primary circuit reduces the flow temperature to the level of underfloor heating by mixing in the colder return flow water of the underfloor heating. The hydraulic switching functions according to the principle of additive switching. The set value of the flow temperature for the underfloor heating is set on the thermostat head of the thermostat valve. The flow temperature of the primary circuit should be at least 10 to 15 K higher, depending on the distributor size, than the required flow temperature for the underfloor heating. A safety temperature monitor switches the heating circuit pump if the set safety temperature is not reached (e.g. 55 C). After cooling to below the set safety temperature, the heating circuit pump is automatically re-activated. 3 Installation The system is only permitted to be installed by a qualified electrical engineer. When installing units with heat pumps in protection class I, the electrical engineer should verify the correct connection of the units as well as the observance of the safety measures. Depending on the local site conditions, this includes the integration of the heating circuit distributor as well as the metallic pipes in the potential equalisation using appropriate connection technology. All connection lines should be equipped with strain relief. Please observe: - The valid VDE regulations - The instructions in the assembly instructions provided For systems with changeover valves for hot water supply, problems can arise in the hydraulics as the primary-side flow or return line is blocked here. Check hydraulic suitability in advance! The use of a hydraulic switch or external shutdown of the fixed value control set is possible. The capillary tube of the temperature sensor must not be bent. In this process, the existing thermostat head with a capillary tube is replaced with an actuator.
