IMPORTANT RECOMMENDATIONS This cabinet is designed for use in Restaurant or Catering facilities. It is not intended for industrial use. Installation should be undertaken by a refrigeration engineer. Do not modify the electrical connection made during installation, particularly the earth continuity circuit. The supply cable that is fitted is a specific part and should only be replaced with an original part. Ensure that the plug is easily accessible. In the event of problems with the electrical circuit, only the installer or the manufacturer should intervene. Observe hygiene guidelines by regularly cleaning the following :. Interior fittings. Door seal. Interior lining. The humidification container (optional) Do not use corrosive or acidic products. Water splashing can cause damage.. To avoid the risk of splash damage, do not clean with a hose or high-pressure spray.. Do not locate the unit where it is exposed to the elements. SPECIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS IN THIS DOCUMENT MAY BE SUBJECT TO BE MODIFIED WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE Instructions n Page 2

1. PRESENTATION OF THE CONTROL PANEL 1.1 IMPORTANT The thermostat does not cut the power supply to the appliance. 1.2 CONTROL PANEL DESCRIPTION Digital display Heater LED Fan LED Door switch Set point display button Fault indicator light On/Off switch Up/Down buttons On/Off button: Digital display: Display button: For switching on the appliance. The red LED remains illuminated as long as the appliance is plugged in Once the appliance is switched on, provides a continuous display of the internal temperature For displaying and adjusting the set-point Control buttons: Adjust the set-point while holding down the button. The arrow can also be used to stop the buzzer Heater LED: Fan LED: Door switch: Fault indicator light: Indicates that the heater is in operation. Indicates that the hot air fan is in operation. Automatically cuts off heating and ventilation while the door is open, indicated by the flashing display and buzzer. Indicates safety shut-down in the event of overheating (above 110ºC). The system then has to be re-set manually. Instructions n Page 3

2. USE 2.1 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS When operating for the first time or after prolonged period out of use, the unit should be run empty. Loading with products at a temperature higher than 110ºC may activate the safety cut-out (see paragraph 2.6). Do not store food products in a way likely to obstruct ventilation which ensures the correct distribution and circulation of air inside the appliance. With a glass door, condensation may occur inside the cabinet due to the moisture generated by the products contained or the use of the humidifier tray. 2.2 LOADING A space of at least 15 mm is required between each item to allow refrigerated air to pass around the products. 2.4 MOISTURE LEVEL (optional) To avoid drying the products a 1 litre water bath is fitted to the rear panel within the cabinet. It should be refilled regularly to ensure it continues to function. Take care this container may retain cavity temperature and be hot. 2.5 SIGNALS AND ALARMS "E0" flashes on the the display and the buzzer sounds intermittently if there is a fault on the ambient probe or if the temperature goes beyond the set limits "E2" flashes on the display and the buzzer sounds intermittently if there is a fault in memorising the configuration data (switch off and then on again). "Ain" flashes on the display alternately with the temperature when the door is opened. The buzzer sounds intermittently if the door is kept open for a prolonged period. "88" (temperature display) flashes on the display and the buzzer sounds intermittently if the temperature of the appliance exceeds the limits fixed by the temperature alarm parameters (parameters A1 and/or A2). Note: Flashing of the LEDs indicates a delay in the activation of the corresponding functions. The buzzer indicating a fault can be stopped by pressing the button. However, it should be noted that switching off the buzzer does not remove the fault. Instructions n Page 4

2.6 SAFETY THERMOSTAT To prevent the risk of overheating caused by an operating fault (e.g. malfunctioning of the hot air fan, loss of adjustment, faulty setting), the cabinet has a safety thermostat, with manual re-set, with a fixed point of 110ºC. If triggered, this device cuts the power supply to the heating element and hot air fan. The operation of the cut-out is signalled by the red indicator located beneath the control panel (above the door). The cut-out may be triggered by loading of food that is too hot. To reset the system, wait until the temperature has cooled down and operate the switch located next to the red fault safety light. The switch can only be accessed using a flat tool no more than 3mm thick. Flat tool If the fault persists despite resetting the safety thermostat, a service engineer will have to be called in. Correct operation of the cabinet relies on compliance with the factory settings and safety devices. We cannot be held responsible for incorrect operation due to modifications made to the appliance. Instructions n Page 5

3. MAINTENANCE IMPORTANT Before any cleaning operation, Ensure that the appliance is switched off. Do not clean the appliance with a water jet in order to avoid water spattering. 3.1 INTERIOR LINING It is necessary to eliminate stains daily. To ease the complete cleaning of the interior lining, the internal fitting can be easily disassembled (shelves supports and slides supports). 3.2 STAINLESS STEEL Use warm soapy water or a non corrosive cleaner then rinse thoroughly and dry. Do not use abrasive, aggressive or concentrated cleaning products. Never rub stainless steel with metal wool or scotch brite. Fingerprints can be easily removed by rubbing with a cloth soaked in alcohol. 3.3 REGULAR CLEANING. The door seals can be removed easily for cleaning. Instructions n Page 6

IMPORTANT RECOMMENDATIONS There must be earth continuity between the appliance and the main connections. The supply cable that is fitted is a specific part and should only be replaced with an original part. Ensure that the plug is easily accessible. The installer should ensure that the electrical connection is suitably protected by an appropriate fuse or cicuit breaker (see rating plate). * Interventions on the electrical or refrigerating circuits and cleaning operations must only be performed when the appliance has been switched OFF. Water splashing can cause damage.. To avoid the risk of splash damage, do not clean with a hose or high-pressure spray.. Do not locate the unit where it is exposed to the elements. After any intervention ensure that the original installation guidelines are respected to avoid any form of risk.
